-Lasering is best when he's dashdance camping you and to approach safely. Don't run away lasering the whole match because it makes you more predictable and it hardly racks up damage. Only a weak-minded player will get frustrated, good Falcons can easily avoid lasers from campy Falcos.
-Falcon can't handle shield pressure against a seasoned Falco. Space and don't get shield grabbed. If you do that right, he'll try stomp out of shield. Uptilt is an easy counter that punishes hard. You can also jump behind him and spam shffl'd bairs/nairs like Fox does. Once he realizes he has no safe offensive option out of shield, he'll roll and that's when you start reading their patterns and punish.
-Upthrow is good sometimes at lower percents. Fthrow has the most utility since Falcon is heavy and you can techchase/follow-up. Bthrow->ftilt works with your back to the edge when they DI into the stage to avoid being thrown off.
-You don't want to full jump much unless you're edgeguarding/comboing. It's too easy for Falcon to just run up and grab you when you land.
-If you do get grabbed, it's just luck if you don't tech or tech away. If you always tech, they can just dashdance techchase regrab easily. If you don't tech they'll stomp/raptorboost/knee you. You just have to do the one your opponent punishes least and once they know you can mix it up, you just have to be random. The best thing to do is DON'T GET GRABBED. You're Falco, you have a shine and lasers. Be consistent with your basic techskill and don't worry about doubleshines .
-Utilitize your amazing full jump with bairs when edgeguarding. Once they start recovering low, it's easy to fsmash/dsmash/dair. If they're good at mixing up sweetspotting/getting on the edge, it's generally better to grab the edge and wait for them to land and punish the lag.
