Help, New MK player!

Hey,
I just started using MK today (Just started playing about 2 weeks ago). What combos should I use? Which attacks should I avoid from using? Right now I'll I try to do is launch people into the air and uair them. Either that or I just damage them with side smash and try to up smash them.

spam downsmash, spam whornado, spam forward and down airs.

and jump on the ledge and ledge camp with up air for 8 minutes.

Also use a lot of tilts, Forward and Down.
