yea camp him, dont try and rush him unless he is at a high percent and you are trying to finish him off, watch out for the tip of the blade, he gets most of his power from there

As others have said, camp him with FJ'd thundershocks, dsmash, and... fsmash. Not kidding. You probably won't get sweetspot with it pretty much ever in this matchup, but it has the most range of any of pika's attacks, and you can use it to catch him out of the air (just don't spam it), and follow up with edgeguarding and/or thunder. Dsmash works nicely for building up damage, and will occasionally send them flying ready to thunder, but a good marth (or any good player) will smash DI out of the final hit and just get sent off to the side. And yes, dsmash will usually be better for those tight spots, but when you can sneak it in, fsmash works quite nicely. I find it a great move against most characters. More importantly, though, thunder ***** marth, so getting him into the air is hugely important. Running in for a usmash isn't very safe, though connecting with one after a thundershock can work. For getting in close to marth, you'll want to QAC in and aerial them/land and smash, something they will rarely be able to react to after performing and whiffing their own aerial, which should help in getting in that finishing blow.

Hm, I feel that this topic is somewhat relevant, due to being basically entirely about thundershock and all. http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?p=4280441
