So... If Shulk is in Smash Brothers, anybody think there's a chance of him having a unique customizable move that lets him predict when stage hazards happen? Or at least use the "see the future" to make a counter.....

Nah. If Shulk gets an indicator of a stage hazard, the opponent will end up knowing it as well. Plus, after awhile of playing the game, I'm sure we'll know when the stage hazards show up, attack, etc due to patterns, visual clues and timings.

Nah. If Shulk gets an indicator of a stage hazard, the opponent will end up knowing it as well. Plus, after awhile of playing the game, I'm sure we'll know when the stage hazards show up, attack, etc due to patterns, visual clues and timings.

Yeah... I thought of that. Still want his seeing the future to show up in some unique way. Currently struggling to come up with ways to make it not just another counter.

For fun:

Trailer starts: SHING. Flames. Open to a ruins of some kind. And there, on some kind of alter sits the Monado. And from the entry way, you see the Nintendo characters pop their heads in. Mario, Kirby, DK and Marth. They all look at the Monado. And, whoop, DK picks it up and holds it on high. But then it goes all crazy and DK starting flying and swinging across the room. Marth dodges, Kirby runs, and after more comical waving around, the sword finally knocks him into a collapsed column (head first) and the sword flies out of his hand. It slides across the floor. And then, you see another person's feet. He picks up the Monado and it's Shulk. SHULK GETS A CATCHPHRASE. He holds it close to him, and the symbol becomes the Smash logo. Queue footage.

Just thought of something for Shulk's final smash - what if the damage for a chain attack final smash is consistently incredible, but the characters participating are randomized each time? Like, one time you might get Dunban and Melia, another time might be Reyn time and Heropon time. With the exception of Seven, of course (spoilers!)

Actually, they could still include Fiora if they sneak in her appearance at the very start of the game. Before Metal Face happens. Just a thought.

That's kind of what this thread is. We've spent most of the time here talking about the game more than anything. Huh. That would work. And the chain attack would be even more awesome if you literally had control of the other characters and they would do a different attack based on what buttons you push. Sure, it would have a high learning curve, but it could be the best final smash in the game.

That's kind of what this thread is. We've spent most of the time here talking about the game more than anything. With a few exceptions like Issac debates and things like this, we talked mostly about the game and maybe why Shulk should be in. I figure I would defiantly like the OP to have information on Shulk from the trailer and other related videos (like Gamexplain).
