i cant get a ride to kapolei but i can go to Zones this weekend if anyone wants.
If anyone can make it to zones on saturday or sunday then post up. i will bring my cousin, Jazz who is a little better than me. I am kinda rusty at smash though
since i have put all my effort into tekken 5 for the last month. Hopefully i'll get to play one of you guys this weekend.

First you have to take the freeway all the way to kapolei.
When you get off the freeway, go left at the light.
Then go right at the next light.
Then on your left you should see a Chevron gas station.
Livewire is right by it.

My main is Marth, and sometimes I use Link (not very well...) for multi-man melees. And yeah, I can wavedash and stuff. Although with Link, I pretty much only shffl; I can't seem to fit in wavedashing with my playing style. I'm trying to learn how to use Falco, but he's not cooperating with me...

Well that was fun, even though I lost almost all of my matches. Are there any other places like that closer to Honolulu? And does anyone have any suggestions on how to get better (besides playing other people)? I have plenty of room to improve and constantly beating the computer isn't helping.

Along with practicing against comps, you should also practice using you moves against each character to get a feel of how your moves work with how fast they fall.
But the only way to improve your mindgames is to challenge good human opponents. Mindgames on comps is pointless. All you have to do is dash dance and they'll do something stupid, then you beat them up. Humans don't play like that.

Thanks Tom and your friends for the practice on friday. I had alot of fun, hope to play you guys again. Man.. I was soooo close to finally beating Nick but nopes i got owned again . oh and Tom Thanks for the fox infinite on me I love seeing it.. all and all GREAT games I won 2 matches not from Nick and Tom but I still I won 2 Hope to play next weekend so please post up you guys Time and Date.

Well, even if I didn't get to play you, I have a pretty good idea of what would've happened. I lost almost all my matches, but at least I never got 4-stocked when I was using my mains.

Is there another place that you guys play that isn't so far out? It's kind of hard for my parents to drive to Kapolei. Sad, but I'm a senior in high school without a drivers license. I'll explain why if I see you guys. If there isn't a closer place, I still might be able to come on saturday.

If you get dropped off at pearlridge, I'd be willing to pick you up if I am going down to kapolei.
I'd also drop you off there as well afterwards.
That way, your parents won't have to drive all the way to kapolei.
