Yeah, so these advertisements that just started appearing a few minutes ago? Yeah, I hate them. They take up too much space... -_- Screw you, MLG.... Just my opinion...

EDIT: Wow. They are LITERALLY overflowing/overlapping onto the text on the page. Just wow... Not only are they annoying, but they also look bad.

Anyway, it looks like they've resolved the overlapping problem. They're still annoying.

The advertisements are really a minimal problem in my opinion. I did notice that they overflowed out of the advertisement area, but in such a way that you have trouble navigating.

My biggest gripe is the skin for smashboards. I think we're long overdue for a new one, or a change to the set. We're in the 21st century, we have a new game out, and mlg [who happen to have quite a bit of cash] own smashboards. I know that there is at least 1 user who has the technical prowess and the willingness to design a new skin for smash boards, or if mlg wants to get fancy, they can buy or hire someone to do the job. Frankly, I'm just tired of looking at the messed up section right under the logo, you know that strip where it shows your user avatar, private messages, etc. In every browser I've tried IE, FF, Chrome, it's messed up in one way or another.

Well that's my complaining for the week. : x I want to assume that the people who run smashboards put quite a bit of time into keeping the thing running, so I'll go back to thanking them now : )

I understand they need to pay for the site, but... At least put them at the bottom of the page or something... x_X Or they could move the Dr. Pepper banner ad to the bottom...

But yeah... Just to put things into perspective, we have about 3 times more of a page dedicated to ads now. They even make my page load a little slower...... -_____-

I really dislike the look of these Contests and Promos advertisements that popped up recently.

Seriously, why the need to be so big?

Having advertisements is understandable for sites, but... some just look rather horrible.

Actually i got it because I didn't want my Keys logged (didnt want my pass stolen) but it REALLY helps for pr0n too xD.

They're not that bad...the only time they're bad is when it obstructs your reading space, but then I just switch tabs and go to the other site I have opened up on it.

The Dr. Pepper ones are cool IMO.

If you didn't.... You should've seen them earlier.... x_X The text was under them, not beside them... So it was actually overlapping and blocking buttons that were directly under them.

Also, yeah, the Dr. Pepper ones are cool. I like Dr. Pepper.

I think it might just be all flash from a certain site you choose.

But for these ads, coming from MLG, anything Flash on the MLG site won't show.

I guess you choose between not seeing the ads here, or seeing the stuff on MLG.com.

What annoys me are the Amazon ads, I have to post on my cellphone and the ad makes a giant link cover the whole page! I can't click on anything or it reroutes me to Amazon.com! GRAH!
