I haven't played against him or any good Mega Mans as Falco, but I feel like things you need to do against Mega Man are: Get him off-stage, since Mega Man's up B doesn't have invincibility as far as I know nor can it hit you. It's not easy to get a good punish against Mega Man, so the off-stage seems really important. And on-stage, stand where you can reflect Metal Blade right back into him. You can't get a followup, but it'll probably make them more reluctant to throw them.I figure I should at least toss up a video here to prove I do play Falco, so yeah.
I'll get to uploading my other matches soon, but there's one. It's in an awful quality because I don't have the income to go buy a capture card right now, so bear with me and my potato cam. I at least tried, you know?
Critique away, and feel free to talk about what the Mega Man was doing too!
Ffamran, you have just discovered the link to the Puerto Rican Smash community. Manny Manito is a good friend of mine and basically one if not the only Falco in Smash 4 at the present in said community.
Hi guys. Well im very happy that you liked my performance as a Falco player in Smash 4 and even more exited that you took the time and posted my work and my specific playstyle. Well as my good friend Locuan said, Im from PR and I cover a lot of the FGC Tournaments in general but lately new on covering smash footage. Been getting a lot of good feed backs on my twitch channel and on my youtube channel so expect more smash content. I just saw a lot of falco vids around here so believe me ill see them so i can get better since I havent played a lot of it until lately. So again Thanks Ffamran, glad you liked it.Uploaded on team ragnarok, some videos of Falco. I've never heard of them, but they have streamed before and the info is in the description box for their videos For future reference, their Twitch channel is this:
and their updates on on their Facebook:
Here's Manny Manito's Falco vs. Roby's Captain Falcon and Toon Link:
vs. @Charls's Lucario and Marth:
Manny does some Jab repeats against Charl's Marth.
vs. Froge's Greninja:
Haha, he does thing I do sometimes where I'll slip in a laser close to the ground before getting back on the ledge. There was the cocky taunt and he dodges stuff with Falco's short hop!
vs. Malec's Mega Man:
First thing is that Manny uses Falco's short hop like a feint and an approach and his short hops aren't even fast-falled; Manny's got a really methodical and defensive Falco. He doesn't do a lot of comboing, but he makes hits count and plays a strong footsie game. I really want to see more of his work since I don't see this type of play style a lot and it really puts the whole Falco's a punisher and a counterpuncher boxer. Also, Manny's apparently the only Falco in that community.
With the post set up and sharing one of the videos elsewhere, I got an answer on Team Ragnarok.
We definitely need to play again soon lolYes that was me.
If you look closely, you can see that I actually won. Here we go!
Check it out and tell me what you guys think.
Maybe if I look at in a different perspective. If you look closely, you can see that I actually won.

Can't seem to do that though, mind helping me out?
I used this song:Cyro, did you use Kingdom Hearts music? It seems similar to Yoko Shimomura's work.
Ayyyy dude can't wait to see it
Just a tiny teaser for what will be coming soon, so stay tuned! (;
I also will be trying my best to get a good recent match of my Falco up soon.
Yeah it works on the characters with disjointed hurt boxes, (I don't know exactly which) but Falcon is a for sure since a lot of people can even dash attack him in a moment like that.I always feel like a ****** when refrencing to personal videos but nontheless this clip i had in FG might be of use to some people. Using F-air ,falco can effectively stop a ledge grab and leave the opponent open for you to follow up with another ariel. just start at 2m47s. i cant tell why this worked, shouldt've falcon just snapped to the ledge with invincibility frames? its quite possible this only works on falcon as i havent tested it further

Standing on the edge short hopping fairs against Kirby is awesome. racks up so much damage too. I played a few ladder matches with great kirby players yesterday and that tactic worked flawlesslyYeah it works on the characters with disjointed hurt boxes, (I don't know exactly which) but Falcon is a for sure since a lot of people can even dash attack him in a moment like that.
Oh that's cool, I know both of them.I have no idea what this Falco was doing for like the first 30 seconds of match and letting himself get bodied, but he was almost able to turn it around. ViRuS's Falco vs. SunJerry's Fox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdI4gcjEXaw.
Thank you very much for this you have no idea Ive been landing the fair - reflector - dair so often today and the bair off stage to dair. Awesome video dude you got some really sick off stage game.
The wall jump to Dairs are sick.
Thank you!Someone also made a Falco and Fox montage with Fox's beginning at 4:00. No Marths, DKs, Toon Links, Luigis, Sheiks, Robins, Villagers, Links, Captain Falcons, Pikachu, Shulks, Rosalinas & Luma, Peaches, Samuses, Triple D's, Little Macs, Pits, Falcos, or Foxes were harmed in the making of this montage.
Oh, and guys and gals, be careful about using Fast Fire Bird... this could happen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Zwa4JYkvbk.

Yeah, it was probably something to do and showcase Fox and Falco. No player should be that stupid and run around after a player walking around. Regardless, it was fun to watch. Anyway, terminalkai's uploading videos and one of them has Falco vs. Shulk at around 3:20. The first match was Wii Fit Trainer vs. Shulk.Thank you!

That montage video is really good! Creative strings in all, but the one problem I saw there was that I'm pretty sure all of those clips were all pretty much from For Glory.
I'm certain he'd have more difficulty performing those on tournament level players. Nevertheless, still give him props.
nice editing there cyro! The only real falco montage that I've been impressed with. Even though I've been occupied with project m and guilty gear xrd, i'm glad to see you and xan putting in work.
