I haven't played against him or any good Mega Mans as Falco, but I feel like things you need to do against Mega Man are: Get him off-stage, since Mega Man's up B doesn't have invincibility as far as I know nor can it hit you. It's not easy to get a good punish against Mega Man, so the off-stage seems really important. And on-stage, stand where you can reflect Metal Blade right back into him. You can't get a followup, but it'll probably make them more reluctant to throw them.

I can share links now, so here's this combo I got against a Captain Falcon. It certainly looks like a combo, but it's very situational.

I did a 1v1 against Max Ketchum in his viewer stream. I played pretty sloppy and kept going for/missing reverse fair spikes (I wanted to spike him so bad!) , but I got a lucky gimp at the end which won me the game. The matches before and after the game were from my little brother because he was the one who set up everything.

Edit: Forgot to mention that short-hop nair is really good in this matchup, better than short-hop u-air imo (slower startup, shorter duration). It does a solid twelve percent if you land all hits and it has a disjointed hitbox (like fair). It's a great move in general really.

First thing is that Manny uses Falco's short hop like a feint and an approach and his short hops aren't even fast-falled; Manny's got a really methodical and defensive Falco. He doesn't do a lot of comboing, but he makes hits count and plays a strong footsie game. I really want to see more of his work since I don't see this type of play style a lot and it really puts the whole Falco's a punisher and a counterpuncher boxer. Also, Manny's apparently the only Falco in that community.

Ffamran, you have just discovered the link to the Puerto Rican Smash community. Manny Manito is a good friend of mine and basically one if not the only Falco in Smash 4 at the present in said community.

Manny has been a Falco main since as long as I can remember and I dreaded facing him in Brawl. When I visited the island in December I lost a set to his Falco as well as Lucina.

I use short hop to approach or feint all the time. Obviously it's not as good of a bait or dash grab mixup as with Fox and Captain Falcon, but it does help with Falco.

Using F-air ,falco can effectively stop a ledge grab and leave the opponent open for you to follow up with another ariel. just start at 2m47s. i cant tell why this worked, shouldt've falcon just snapped to the ledge with invincibility frames? its quite possible this only works on falcon as i havent tested it further

Yeah it works on the characters with disjointed hurt boxes, (I don't know exactly which) but Falcon is a for sure since a lot of people can even dash attack him in a moment like that.

Standing on the edge short hopping fairs against Kirby is awesome. racks up so much damage too. I played a few ladder matches with great kirby players yesterday and that tactic worked flawlessly

That montage video is really good! Creative strings in all, but the one problem I saw was that I'm pretty sure all of those clips were all pretty much from For Glory.
I'm certain he'd have more difficulty performing those on tournament level players. Nevertheless, still give him props.

Yeah, it was probably something to do and showcase Fox and Falco. No player should be that stupid and run around after a player walking around. Regardless, it was fun to watch. Anyway, terminalkai's uploading videos and one of them has Falco vs. Shulk at around 3:20. The first match was Wii Fit Trainer vs. Shulk.

Anyone use Anther's/Smash Ladder? RCM94's Falco vs. PDude's Mega Man and Fox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r1b10kQZyQ. He use Falco Phantasm a bit too much which lands him in a lot of bad situations, but he's doing fine - could use more Utilts, Ftilts, Dtilts, and Nairs, though.

Yeah RCM was in love with the Phantasm in that set.
It really isn't an end all recovery and offensive move especially with . You've got to find other ways to approach even though Falco doesn't have many options.
