Don't usually do this nowadays, but this goes to special mention.
@ILOVESMASH, I believe this is what you were talking about with Falco's foxtrot or dash -- I'd like to call it this since dashes happen before (sustained) runs. It's been put to practice in a tournament by StarPrime. Took 3rd in these uploaded videos:
http://challonge.com/neosingles4. He took 1st in the
previous one, but I don't know if he used Falco -- probably did since it's his main. Small tournament, but some of the players look really good.

The one thing to note which ILOVESMASH was talking about is that StarPrime uses a lot of dashes for ground movement; he rarely ever runs and if goes for sustained ground movement, he'll walk. His movement is mostly dashes, walks, and jumps. The way he moves with Falco reminds me of Marth players dashing around. It also reminds me of Nash from Street Fighter V; Nash has a slow walk speed which is equivalent to Falco's having low run speed, but Nash's dash is fast which is also shared with Falco.
Other interesting thing to note is that StarPrime only used Up Smash once in all of the recorded sets. Weird since there were many chances for him to anti-air and land trap with it. He also rarely uses jab 2 and rapid jab; he uses a lot of jab 1 to Dtilt. From a player standpoint, his inputs are spot on and he buffers almost all of his throws. I really hope to see more of StarPrime's gameplay.
Will update the
notable Falco player list with StarPrime as an Aviator... I don't know where to find enough information on Neo Arcadia. All I got is that it's possibly held in New York -- first listing of Neo Arcadia on Smashboards:
http://smashboards.com/threads/may-...-u-singles-and-doubles-mount-kisco-ny.437236/ --, it's either streamed by 914 Smash or poKevSim, and that it might be a recent tournament series. For StarPrime, I think he has an account here, but it's been inactive for quite some time. For the list itself, if you haven't checked on it -- edits don't count as new posts, so it doesn't get marked as unread for those watching it -- I've updated it recently and there's a giant list of Japanese players, the players who participated in the Falco-only tournaments and other tournaments held and uploaded on terminalkai, now known as tamisuma.jp.
