Saw that earlier (in case you didn't see my name in the comments lol).

It's probably nothing more than pure coincidence. That trailer was released last year, before DLC was probably even started on. Still, that doesn't mean it affects Ryu's chances at all.

/\ but this is totally worth; I just played some matches ONline recently, and there are very active people over there. And particularly, the conventional Super SFIV is still my favorite version.

I wish it could get a Miiverse page; so I can take screenshots. =P

I dunno.. lack of a quality control... Even the "Press Start Button" was passed unnoticed.. You know, PS4 has no "Start Button", lol.

It's the all-around best version for playerbase, netcode (because Sony's internet sucks ***) and what it was built around.

It's why I deal with consoles (Xbox preferably) over PC when it comes fighting games

The sad thing is that it's a NEXT GEN SYSTEM. There's absolutely no reason why these should even be issues.

They better solve the issue immediately since this might be one of their last few good titles left that could keep the company afloat. They're already in a Mobile Market for a while; mainly in Japan;.. there's a lot of titles there. But yeah, I have the same fear..

But as I said, Capcom wasn't the responsible by this port, although this doesn't free them of all the guilt.. since they hired some other company to do that, they need to pass through a quality control.
The issues can be fixed, but the question is.. can be fixed before EVO?.. If not, I can even see a lot of Pro Players skipping the event. .. They're all reporting problems and disappointment in their Twitter.

My favorite one is the Tatsunoko vs Capcom version. To this day, I still think it's the best modern remix of Ryu's theme.

Some runner ups I would say are the Namco x Capcom and Project X Zone versions.

While Guile's theme goes with everything, you know that M.O.D.O.K.'s theme goes well with trolling. If only Capcom didn't lose that trademark to Marvel since it would be so perfect with Duck Hunt and the other gag characters.

Sorry for the lack of news, guys! -- Next week I have tests, so has been a busy week for me; But I'm always around.. don't worry!

--On the subject: my favorite version of Ryu theme is a tie between NxC and TvC;.. =P .. both for extremists reasons:

The NAMCO X Capcom has the classic Japanese instruments and a whistle within that I reeeeally appreciate. XD..

and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom one is a very good modernization of the song without going crazy with additional notes or unfitting instruments breaking the original feeling of the composition. =P

He already has his English voice actor and he'll be willing to do some lines and a lot of characters have English and Japanese voices.

Hey guys, I'd like to bring something funny;.. Have you ever heard about a bootleg game for NES called "World Heroes 2"? .. It's one of these many SFII downgraded ripoffs struggling to run at the NES hardware; I'm a bit addicted in those weird bootleg games though.. =P;

This game has the craziest roster ever: ..
Ryu, Mario, Chun-Li, Sonic, Leonardo, Haggar, Bowser, Laurence Blood, Andy Bogard, Goku (lol), Mai and Bison

so many random picks with weird moves that doesn't even match the character (like, Sonic uses electricity just like Blanka, lolol)

-- I'd like to point out, the game has Mario, Sonic and Ryu in the cast.. something that, some group many years ago, idealized (I guess), and put some effort on it (it's actually kinda nice how each character has his own home stage with correct themes, and some fighters like Mario, besides the horrendous appearance, had an entirely new sprite work); And now this match is happening for real!... Isn't cool? =D...

I mean, you see people suggesting crossovers all over the place about everything, but quite a few has a chance to turn in reality; and Smash4 is exceeding expectations with it; It has become legendary for bringing the four biggest mascots of the industry, and now will bring one more great and incomparable icon for the cast!

PS: Oh; and I'm preparing one more thing to the thread; a minor one.. but just to keep the hype going until E3; .. and keep moving the thread, World Warriors!

I love when games like SF2 get bootleg versions on systems prior to the release of said game. case in point...

Street Fighter 2 on NES. Honestly bootleggers pls who would ever have wanted that lol. There's also the dreaded Street Fighter Champion Edition otherwise known as Rainbow Edition (Which became a big inspiration for the Omega Mode in Ultra Street Fighter 4)
