Cause i mean, GG players definitely dont play smash, and it's not like FL DOESNT have a gg community or something.

I already knew about that site. Posted a tournament from that site above.
Figured this be a kind of better version of the Street Fighter discussion thread, as well as a way for Smashers to hook up, get interested, hype that 1000 dollar tournament, or just plan smash around.
Plus, I hate how local communities are handled on that site.

Also, props to my May mains.

From what I gather from the GGAC community, they're not. At the same time, I'm pretty sure GGAC will keep a good bit of their base because, unlike the smash community, every other community actually understands the concept of playing 2 different games (something the smash community couldnt fathom for a LONG time).

Dropping GGAC for Blazblue would literally be the same concept as dropping Melee for Brawl. The games are different enough to where it doesnt really merit it.

As for me specifically, I couldnt imagine dropping GGAC for BB simply because I dont like the BB characters. The only one that even remotely interests me is Rachael, and she doesnt look THAT great.

The GGAC community is so small its kinda deperessing being in it.
I went to a florida tournament a few months back after hearing FL is one of the largest states for GG. So I'm cool! There will be at least 30 40 people there since it was hyped up so much and everyone said they were going.
Nope.
It was a 16 man bracket including me and 4 other dudes it was there first tournament.
Totally turned me off about the community..so I quit for a long time. lol. And I still have not played seriously. :( I'll join back up eventually!

BB should be bigger since it's DLC, but people are forgetting the PS2 is not dead(in Japan). Actress Again releases in August for the PS2, can't wait for that.

I have a bunch of friends who play GGAC, I mean, at least 10. But they're all scrubs. I try to work on my combo game, and they are busy trying to find a spammable attack that they can use

OVER.
AND OVER.
AND OVER.
AND OVER.

Which is why I beat them.

And they don't get very far, unless they use Venom...

Any tips on how to get better at comboing?

Note:I don't play Sol regularly. I will 90% of the time use Baiken.
