Alright guys, it's done! I know a bunch of you expressed interest in it before and were excited to see if it'd get done, and alas, I buckled down and taught myself enough Perl to finish it =P

Basically here's the idea : GWitizer is a great tool, but unnecessarily difficult and tedious to use because you have to find the RGB values of all the colors you want, type them in one by one, and don't make any mistakes, because if you do, you have to start over. Kind of tedious, yeah?

What I did was program a graphical interface, complete with color wheel and color chooser and all on Java, made it user friendly, made it send over all the data to the original GWitizer and automatically create your PAC and PCS files without ever needing to press one key stroke on your keyboard. Add in that it's user friendly and something you don't even have to install and what you get is (I hope you feel this way, I do!) a nice little tool designed to make Game and Watch custom colors easier than ever.

So here's the download link first of all. (Even people who downloaded the not completely working version a week ago need to redownload this, it has too many changes to try to edit that one.) YELLOW AND GREEN FIX : v1.1 : http://www.mediafire.com/?cmz5owtlkdx

There are more detailed instructions inside of the text file in the download, but here they are for those who want to know how to use it before they download:
1) Open ColorChooser.jar
2) Follow graphical interface instructions
3) Click bottom button
4) Copy over and rename the Game and Watch files that were created.

And that's it! Easy, huh?

Special thanks to picano and elrefugio, who were both listed on the original GWitizer readme, so thanks for making the actual engine that creates the PAC and PCS files!

Want to see pictures? Look no further!

Upon opening, shows previews and you can click the buttons to change whatever you want. The rectangle represents Mr. Game and Watch's body color and outline and the oval represents Mr. Game and Watch's attack and final smash color and outline.

You can use the regular color palette...

Or go for the full spectrum layout. The images update in real time as you confirm any color.

Want the same color effects as your Game and Watch? No problem! Don't want the same colors? No problem either!

When you're done, click the bottom button, wait about 15 seconds, and TA-DA!, copy over your new Game and Watch .pac and .pcs files onto your SD Card and rename. That easy!

So lemme know what you think, or where to go from here, etc. Sorry, but I don't think I can ever program it to be able to pattern or texture pattern Game and Watch customs because I still use GWitizer as a code base, and if that program doesn't support it, mine doesn't either. But if there is anything that people are looking for besides that, let me know!

Enjoy! ^_^

@ DiamondbodySharpshooter : You must have .jar files associated with WinRAR. You should right click and click Open With, and find the Java (TM) Platform SE Binary. WinRAR is used for decompressing, and technically a .jar file is compressed, but it works more like an .exe. You should undefault that. Let me know if you have any more problems or can't open it with not-WinRAR.

@Orca : I'm a CS Major in college, but my programming experience doesn't go too much beyond some Java and random projects in things like C, Scheme, and Python. Next semester (and last before I graduate 0_o) I'm taking a Web Programming course, a Graphics course, and an AI course, so I should be a better programmer after those.

It did take a little while to figure out how Perl handles arrays though and how to make them behave like a Stack, but other than that there isn't anything too complicated in Perl that I did, and because I've used Java before in the past (and because NetBeans is so awesome), the graphical portion was more or less just trying things until they looked alright, haha.

I just checked... it worked for me? Try copying over the link and pasting it. I'm not really sure what to tell you, I don't think anyone else had that problem =P

Triple checked, green and yellow are switched.

Edit: When I open the program, the green and yellow are opposite of what the first image shows.

@AMKalmar : Thanks a lot, it must have slipped by me, probably in the looking at the templates for the renaming of CSPs as the numbering is different. I'll fix this up by tomorrow, look for an updated file sometime in the later PM tomorrow.

Actually, one thing : when you say switched, you are referring to the on screen picture, yeah? Like, when you click to edit the yellow one my program the green one on the game really gets changed instead, right? If so this is a really easy fix and I could change that right now. Just curious but I think that's what you mean, yeah?

EDIT : Check the new download link, I think that should fix that problem. For everyone confused by the green and yellow being switched with any CSPs, sorry about that!

Your team? Sure? Haha. Sorry for not knowing what team you're on, but if it'll spread this and make it easier for people to use, go for it! I made this so people could make Game and Watches easier (and I could practice my programming skills which have been dormant for about a year because of my semester in Japan). Just put my name down or something, alrighty?

I wish I knew how to make patterns in the Game and Watch, but since I am not all that familiar with ASH or how the Game and Watch textures actually work, that might not be possible for me =P

So Making the skins works really well, but when I click Ready Set Go!, I wait for a while then nothing happens. I've checked everywhere and the new files are nowhere to be found. What could be the problem?

That's actually pretty hilarious, nice work! Too bad this only works for GAW though.

Hey, this is a great tool! Thanks for sharing!

I do have one issue though.
It seems that almost every time G&W gets hit, his parachute comes out for a couple of frames. It's just a cosmetic thing, but it is kind of annoying. Any ideas why this happens?

Ya, does this ONLY replace the original colors or can this add new ones?
