I've been letting my hair grow almost out of control for almost 12 months now. I passed by a random group of teenage girls the other day when on one of my city walks, and one of them turned to me and said "I like your hair."

I'm usually taken aback by random compliments like that and don't know what to interpret of them.

You don't really need to cut growing hair for it to be "tidy." I do use a flat iron to manage a straight hairstyle, at least.
