good and bad falco stages

i have heard alot of talking about good stages for certain characters. So my question is which stages are good and which stages are bad for falco.

it's a too general kind of question as it depends on playing styles and on the character you are fighting against. Personally my favourite stage is pokemon stadium because it's not too big allowing Falco to quickly KO his opponents, it has got platforms which help comboing opponents, yet it is quite large and SHL works quite well. Watch out when it changes though.

any laser-supportive stage is generally good; jungle japes and pokemon stadium especially. shine-happy falcos enjoy smaller stages like yoshi's story to allow easy combos.

ok now i get it my pick for the best stage would have to be pokemon stadium cuz i dont shoot to much and i like to go into combos.

I'm pretty fond of Battlefield and Pokemon Stadium myself. I'm the only falco I/other people know who doesn't like FD enough to ever counter with it. o_O

EDIT: Pokemon Stadium is a good lasering stage.. If you just want combos, go for something like Battlefield, Yoshi's Story, or even Fountain of Dreams.

I hope you dont like Dream Land against Jiggly, Peach, or Luigi.
Depends how you counter though. Some counter for their own strength, while some counter for their opponents weakness.

I don't know what you are talking about because I get owned in dream land. In general I think bigger stages with more platforms are better for Falco.

Dreamland is one of Falco's best stages.... I even prefer Dreamland over Battlefield and Pokemon Stadium

lol i know, thats what the ">.>" was for, my favorite is "Dream land" and pokemon stadium, i play alot in FD for random matches, FFA's or tourny's that only let you choose that stage.

FD and PS for sure. i personally dislike FoD and Battlefield. I used to hate Yoshi's Story, and now i don't hate it but i don't like it either. DL is pretty good too against people that don't have gay recovery with good DI.

DL's generally a bad stage against floaties and CF, because with proper DI, they don't die -_-

Other than that, most Falcos tend to counterpick based on their personal strengths/preferences.

I don't know who you guys are playing but Dreamland is amazing against Peach and Jiggs.

Final Destination , Battlefield, Venom (lol), Corneria. Venom is really easy to get some kills in an limited amount of time. If you miss your spike, or some other attack, you will get saved by its lower wings.

whoever said FD was a perfect counter pick, not if you're playing against marth. I've seen too many 0 to death combos against fox/falco on FD to like playing there. stadium is a great stage because even when it switches, you can still haave advantages, like in the mineshaft part you can get a lot of combos, etc.

PS is great overall, but you know what's fun counterpick vs. a marth? Poke floats. I don't know why, but it's great. Usually it gets banned either by the tourney or the player though, so it doesn' come up very often.

I know FoD is amazing for comboing. All the platforms re at the right height for falco.

Poke Floats is good because Falco has more mobility compared to most characters. And a lack of edgeguarding opportunities.

Venom is banned at most tournaments for camping reasons.

I am a SHL nut, so I love Pokemon Stadium and Final D. Oddly enough, FoD gives me a lot of trouble, usually cause a platform will start to drop and end my SHL before the laser can come out. Pokemon Stadium is king. Too much fun!
