Yeah I'm a Golden Sun fan, to some degree at least, as it's my favorite nintendo RPG series. I have both games but I haven't completed the second yet.

This game was my gaming childhood. I remember sitting back for hours on end on my couch finding all the good weapons and djinn.

Two of the greatest games I've ever played- can't say enough about them. If you haven't played it- you need to.

Great story, also, and the main adventure will actually last you a good 50 hours.

Good times playing these games. I really enjoyed how when you started off the game you'd run into characters and think "man I wish these guys were in my party :(" and then waaaay later in the game you'd get them. Also really liked how the second game started with off with a different party than what you ended with in the first game, but you eventually got all the old party members back as well.

I'd love to see a 3D version created. Heck, it wouldn't even need to have a new story, just give me a 3D version of the two games on one disc.

Played the first game and it was **** awesome. I purposely looked for monster to kill becuase it was so climatic. Too bad I lost the cartridge :(

It was fun mixing up the Djinns, and looking for them as well. Plus any one tried the tricks such as getting Ivan's ultimate sword? That was **** hard.

I've never played these games one is for the Gamecube and the other was on the GBA. I will try and find them and buy them since they look fun to play.

I started a file in the first game on my friend's copy years ago, but I was never able to come back to it. It's definitely on the list of "games I want to give the attention they deserve but can't because I'm a poor, busy college student who spends his time brawling".

Definetly was never on the gamecube... and yeah, I'd pay 60 bucks for the same games re-made on a console.

These games were wicked. I'd want them to make another new installment on the DS. I mean come on, the series ends on a cliffhanger.

Alex? ALEX? ALLEEEX!?!?!?!?!?
What the hell happened to him seriously. he gets owned by the floating eye ball and that's it. No confirmation on his death. Plus will they make a new Vale, how will alchemy affect the world and all that stuff. Plus are there other elements to the 4 basic ones? I mean Light and Dark haven't been explored at all, and those would make kick *** elements.

It never came to gamecube? I thought one came on the gamecube and the GBA so were both made on the GBA?

Is that what happened? Man I thought it was something sorta different. I thought he showed up on top of Mt. Vale (or whatever it's called) where the four elements or something collided and I interpreted it as him being evil and was playing everyone to gain superpowers. Guess I better PLAY THE GAMES AGAIN.

Edit: And no, the only two Golden Sun games were both for the GBA.

Oh yes, I played and beat both games. I LOVED those games, I still play them from time to time. I certainly liked the first team better (Isaac, Garet,Ivan, and Mia) I used them as soon as I was able to on the second game. Honestly this is a really good series, that does new a sequel.

Ahhh Golden Sun. How many years has it been since it first came out on the GBA.

I also played the second one since the ending of the first one made be go wtf since I hoped more would happen before the end of the first one.

By the end of the second one I think my group was Felix, Isaac, I'm thinking Jenna, and girl Jupiter user)

Poor Garet never felt useful to me in either game.

Alex climbs the mountain. Big Eye Ball Deity(forgot his name) tells him that Golden Sun is now Issac's becuase he did it for the Lulz. Mountain cracks and Alex falls.

The Golden Sun games were really great. It'd be awesome if they remade it for the DS with little scenes every now and then a la Chrono Trigger.

No they should make the sequel for the DS. I mean Golden Sun was last Generation. The Original Chrono Trigger was 15 years ago.

The big eye ball was the wise one. I loved the game. The Djinn system was great. The characters were pretty cool. The storyline was good. They were two of the best GBA games.

Camelot keeps saying how they want, might, or will make a new Golden Sun game. However no official word on it has come.

this for me. I have no idea where my copy of the first went, I think I loned it to someone and forgot who :( and they are jerks and wont return it. I intend on finding a copy of the first, and playing through botha again soon.

The game is so amazing... why can't they make more?

Golden Sun (and Lost Age) might be my favorite GBA games ever. I haven't played them in years now (and it's been even longer since I touched my GBA), but I remember how I couldn't wait to get up every morning and play during breakfast and then again after coming home from school.

It really had a great story, great gameplay, awesome characters, and amazing music.

I remember since I was only like 11 when I was trying to beat Dullahan I just extreme-power leveled my characters against those flaming dog things since I didn't like dying over and over trying new things.

I should play this on the gameboy player, I never tried it before. I haven't really got to Dullahan before though, I kinda went through the game not knowing :p Now that I do, I'm trying my best to get there and face him.

For the record, I destroyed Dullahan.
Lies and how did you do it?

I know several people came up with tricks to beat him but whenever I face him in the arena he always kills me.

Meggido was so awesome. For a final summon I think Iris could have been a little bit more over the top.

I remember this one spell that kills your opponent in exactly seven turns that I used in the arena battles. You could only do it if you didn't give Isaac only Djinn that matched his element though, so I'm not sure how many people know about it.
