Hey guys I'm going to my first tourney tomorrow. Could anybody give me advice on how to not place last?

eat a steak, spin dash into combos, spam bair, GO!, and mind game with spin dash

Beat the first person you play in winners and there you go you can't make last.

This is a question to really answer it's just something you do and use your knowledge on your character and his respective MUs.

That won't guarantee he wouldn't get last in a double-elimination bracket. His first opponent could easily be nothing more than a "bye" to other opponents depending on how it's seeded, and that person could just as easily win his next matches while Boxob still has a chance to lose his next two in a row.

Hopefully that won't/didn't happen though.
