sorry for the lack of updates people. iv been dealing with a crisis. my fiance has left me and iv been dealing with that. i want everyone to know the tournament is still going on but has a possibility of being delayed unless i become more emotionally stable. for now tho it will still be Feb 16th just keep an eye on the thread for the next few weeks. my apologies.

thats still not confirmed! just cause some of the vendors are getting a messed up shipping date doesnt mean the game is delayed. i used to work for gamestop and that **** happened quite often and we would end up getting it on time anyways.

hey everyone! iv reserved the recroom for march 22nd! i know i originally wanted to hold this on the very first weekend but unfortunately i have a birthday to go to on that weekend. anyways, i still need more people pre-register and bring setups.
LET ME KNOW IF UR BRINGING SETUPS O_O; im starting to worry how smooth the tourny will go without enough wii's!

also n64 SSB may possibly be dropped.

also im still considering having the smashballs set to very low.

ok well with brawl almost released, and the tourny less than a month away im still concerning myself with equipment. i dont want this to be a small time brawl tourny like most that are out there. i need people to bring their set-ups to make this an awesome experience.

sorry bout the lack of updates people! with brawl flooding the site every time iv come on to do an update the site goes down ><.

anyways iv decided to drop melee and 64 smashes due to lack of interest. besides with brawl just out who really wants to play what we have already been playing for years! so instead im going to do singles and teams for brawl! Teams will cost $5 a person.

For those of you who are coming dont forget to be here by 11am as that is when i am starting sign ups!

ok so 3 more days until the tourny. iv got a lot of local attention. some iv played and are pretty good and some well......lets just say they are feeding the pot. either way there should be people of different caliburs to be able to play with.

you want results....... lets just put it this way. i got first and last place -_- not only did nobody outside the 8 of my friends show up, but the ******* girl who awas supposed to cover my shift at work didnt show up so i ended up having to wrap it up at 2 and go to work for 10 ****in hours! so i guess its a good thing no body showed up. anyways i dont think im ever hosting a tournament ever again. iv been planning this thing for months and NOBODY showed (except my crew). the tournament scene has become so common that nobody wants to drive more than 15 minutes to compete cause they know something closer will be happening the next week if not the same week. i used to pull in competition from HELLA areas. sacremento, stockton, modesto, freemont, san francisco, livermore, antioch. now everyone just goes to closer events! anyways its been a long mutha ****in day, everything has come in the way of this tourny happening, my boss is an *******, i hate customers, my ex, my car and coworkers, and every other lil thing that got to me today. d*mn its time for a beer..........

there should be some sort of event to lure in would be smashers to come to the tourny, maybe like a apple bobbing contest, or darts. perhaps a game of poker, or free t shirts
