You're awesome at sweetspotting f-smash, but I think that you use it a little too much. Try racking up damage with aerial/ grab combos more.

When you grab you usually f-smash at the person right away. This is really unreliable and I think tech-chasing would be better.

Nice matches

Thanks for the helpful tips. And yea I noticed I fsmash too much sometimes. I guess I get into habits that work on my friends, but wouldn't actually work on better players. Also if you know anyone who lives in maryland please let them know I'd really like to do friendly's with them.

The Marth ditto: You need to work on your DI a bit. You got nailed by the forward throw to forward smash a bit too much. When Marth grabs you start holding away/pressing back on the analog stick. Its justa matter of remembering but its pretty easy once you get it, like everything I guess. lol There was also this part were you got Marth off the stage and then you started to walk away and walk back towards the edge. Ok never do that, especially when playing as Marth. Walking away is only relieving the pressure on your opponent and making his return to the stage a lot easier. The ideal spot you want to be at when edge guarding with Marth is to the point were you do a down tilt and the very tip of Marth's blade goes slightly off the edge. But overall, that was a pretty good Marth ditto. Nice movement and all that jazz. Bout time I see a white costume from Marth. Haha.

As for you fights with Falcon, yeah I don't know what was going on there. I find it funny you can edge guard a Marth pretty good but you struggle to edge guard Falcon. Well for one, you got hit by WAY TOO MANY UP Bs!! Your friend was using them way too early and he wasn't even trying to sweet spot. The thing is, you knew he was going to Up B early but you kept attempting you forward smash him out of his newly activated up B, which doesn't work! All you had to do was wavedash back and then forward smash. Melee is a very situational game...the quicker you learn what moves fit the situation the smoother your progress will be. Also, refrain from using shield breaker (when standing on the stage) as an edge guard against Falcon. Falcon can easily angle himself to safety. You are better of jumping off the level and hitting Falcon with a non charged shield breaker as an edge guard.

I don't have too much time left, so I'll try and finish my advice tomorrow. Watch more Falcon V.S. Marth vids...

Wow, thanks for all the tips. I know im supposed to DI away when I get grabbed, but for some reason I have a habit of DI'ing towards the marth, then I realize im supposed to go the other way, but by then its too late and I end up DI'ing with the forward smash =(.

And with the Falcon matches, hmmm I don't know what to say. I was sorta sandbagging because hes not really that good at melee. I can kill them pretty easily I was just trying things out, and I put them here because I don't have any matches recorded where I play seriously against a good falcon. I'll try to upload some matches against my friends shiek, and the other marth dittos that I have so I can get more help.

I'll also record some with the other 2 top tiers fox and falco.

Again thanks for all the tips and help =) And yes, I chose the white costume because I haven't seen anyone else with it =D

One question,at the end of the first match u had ther, how do u do that spike coming off the edge with marth,it doesnt work for me
I usually press down on the analog stick or whatever you call it, then jump and press the c-stick down while DI'ing towards the stage. Its pretty easy once you practice it for a bit.
