I cant believe melee isntnumber 1 as well as its 3?

I also dont agree with the games that are on other consoles, resident shouldnt be on this list considering it was much bttr for ps2 and was lucky to even be for the gamecube, same for sc2.

no starfox game??

ITS THE GODDAM OTHER WAY AROUND. The PS2 was lucky too get Resident Evil 4. RE4 was one of Capcom's 5. 5 Exclusive Game cube games. And guess what? The only one that was truly exclusive got not so rave reviews. The dead one "Dead Phoenix" was killed and the other 3 got ported to the PS2.

The 2 Star Fox games on the Gamecube were horrible to Star Fox standards. Adventures was 1 big Legend of Zelda Ripoff, Assault was Ace Combat-actual flying+on foot. Plus they got Krystal in there as well, which attracted all these "non star fox fans" into the game, if you catch my drift. Seriously as a guy who's first SNES game was Star Fox those 2 games piss me the **** off.

Well actually, SC2 was an AMAZING game for GC. If I knew where mine was today, I'd still be playing it. It's well deserving to be up on that list.

Anyone who thinks that SW: Rogue Squadron II is too high on the list is ignorant. It's an amazing game.

Got this issue a while back, and was a bit unhappy that one of my fave games was missing from this. That would be Custom Robo. A fighting game where you customize your characters, and their movesets are actually unique? I signed up in a heartbeat.

As for resident evil, Im biased just bc i played it on ps2 first, so i lose that arguement, but starfox assault is star fox 64 with ground added into the story. You call it an ace-combat ripoff, when in fact almost all games involving air crafts space//jets are similiar, so a basis of a game cant be formed on that opinion. That being said (adventures was bad I admit that) but you cant say the star fox games are bad compared to the SNES, thats like comparing different final fantasies as well as the smash series.

I agree with the titles that are on the list for the most part, but I think a lot of rankings are debatable or interchangeable.

No its not. Star Fox Assualt is mostly "all range mode" plus. Actually if i remember the only on rails where the first and last levels. Star Fox 64 had ground levels as well on Titania and Macbeth, and they wernt as bland and boring as Assaults.

You call it an ace-combat ripoff, when in fact almost all games involving air crafts space//jets are similiar,
The reason why i call it an ace combat ripoff is becuase Namco developed Assault, who also dev(or more specific Project aces) Ace Combat. Unfortunately i felt the Arwings where more slower than 64's.

but you cant say the star fox games are bad compared to the SNES, thats like comparing different final fantasies as well as the smash series.
..............Final fantasy is a RPG........Smash is a fighting game.......2 different Genre's mean different game play.... Star Fox and Star Fox 64 where by far the Best Star Fox games. Assualt and Adventures are its Downfall.

Hopefully Miyamoto will hold his promise and not mess up Star Fox wii.

Where's Paper Mario & the Thousand Year door, or Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for that matter? Surely this list has to be a mistake.... right?

Actually I played Resident Evil 2 and it scared me to **** being a 6 year old, and some what still does. Resident Evil 4 on the other hand still had that same scary aura but i felt like i had a chance. but seeing there was a 10 year gap between them i dunno if that was the reason. Plus a rookie cop becoming #1 T virus and related Bio weapons *** kicker is awesome.

I agree with your sentiments on RE2 vs RE4. Aside from gunpower, for the most part you had more room and better controls/camera to work with in RE4, which created, what I may posit, is one of the easiest Resident Evil games. Aside from a few enemies late in the game los ganados and even the early las plagas are fairly easy to dispatch. RE2 is a better game in terms of difficulty and value, but RE4 was a pretty full package. It made up for what it lacked in quality of enemy with quantity.

List fails for not having:

Fire Emblem 9
Paper Mario 2
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Did you just say Sonic Adventure 2 Battle? Seriously?

The game was fun when I was little, but looking at it now, I realize what a terrible game it really is.

1. Gameplay is just OK, but it really gets boring on the levels where you are in the robot-thingamajigs. (Forgot the names of em. Sue me.)

2. Voice acting is TERRIBLE. Tails- "I did it Sonic!"

3. A very glitchy game overall. They should have patched up many of it's problems. I can remember just randomly falling through the floor on the first level for no reason.

Anyway, I agree w/ Paper Mario 2.

Really, that's the part you thought stuck out as boring? I would've thought it'd be those levels were you're hunting for emerald shards. Those were levels were so tedious.

Fire Emblem and Paper Mario should both be somewhere in the top 25. Other than that, I agree that most of the games on there deserve their places...

The fact that The Legend of Zelda places higher than Metroid Prime(or, for that matter, Super Smash Bros. Melee) shows that GameInformer is full of complete idiots. There's never been a good 3-D Zelda game.

That's not all, the fact that the GameInformer rated Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door less than a 7 been proved that they are complete idiots. =/

well no offense being a pretty big metroid fan myself, the legend of zelda is a better series. but then again gameinformer has been known to be biast against nintendo which isnt that cool.

ya i dont know why gameinformer hates on the paper mario series so much although they gave super paper mario a 9.5/10 which is BS cause that game sucked but thats an argument for another thread.

No. It really isn't.

Most people were. They were broken. My robo had the following lineup:

Body: Javelin
Gun: Magnum
Bomb: Straight T
Pod: Spider
Boots: Long Thrust

I couldn't use any other lineup because of my "in your face" rushdown playstyle. Custom Robo was a great game. I wonder if there's still a scene for Custom Robo Arena on the DS.
