I feel that he somehow knew, and would just gambit that claim so he could take the lead because he knows he has slightly more experience than Meow.

It's a investigative role, but it's weak. Yet fun to play with it seems.

@Ran: No, those pictures were literally it until the Gorf flip confirmed it for me. It's all in the post that got me VB'd. I had never known Kirb to do something like that, and certainly never use whatever face she posted for the jailer. I know her usual tropes she falls back on and none of those were things regular to her. I tried to figure out why and the only thing that made sense to me was that she had some insider info so I rolled with it. Claiming flavor cop seemed like the easiest way for me to be vauge and yet give what I suspected was the most accurate info on Gorf while still protecting her slot from a NK. In light of what Jupiter has pointed out, it was mega stupid of me to just take like that, but it seems to have worked out ok despite this.


As far as Orbo, I don't care very much about him. You're reading too hard into the fact I didn't see enough to pin him as scum from his scant postings that one time you asked versus wanting heartily to save him. I'm actually waiting for him to un-vote block me to solidify his slot as town. He has been, and still is a case of "not enough to make me think scum" but no real evidence to point to the contrary.

Thief generally works too ways. You either get flavor info, or role info.

For flavor, say you stole from Commander Stryker. You might get his eyepatch. With some basic knowledge of flavor, you'd be able to deduce who he was, or at the very least deduce if he was lying about his claim later on.

For role, you get something that has to do with what they do in the game. So like take tracker, he might have a magnifying glass. A vig visit might yield a gun, or a bullet. Something that implies they shoot/kill people.

There is NO version in which you'd get:

-A robin, which you somehow manage to connect to the specific character 'Robin', and then even further connect to the Sidekick role. Correctly, at that.
-A picture of an INCREDIBLE specific character from a famous and highly well known movie, which obviously implies Jailer.
-A .... piece of paper with the words 'Secret Servent' on it.

I'm going to level with you. You have legit points, you really do. But I'm meta'ing here on Meow and hard. There's NO WAY she's scheming this hard just to do this. She'd have to put so much effort into posting and planning all this out, and I've been having to beat down her door just to get her to post.

What's more likely: That she barely cares and crumbed the results she got from Washed (the man who made your indestructo gigabot into a miniature laser pointer) in the hopes it helped. As for the game being unconventional, that is in regards to the SETUP. Not having a classical role that functions in some bull**** random new way that makes it vary wildly from totally useless (robin) to incredibly telling (possible the most famous goddamn jailer in the world and a ... sigh... piece of paper that may as well say 'bodyguard' on it)

If anything Kirby (MeowMonster) knows more about actual forum mafia than I did coming into this game as she was the one hosting the other games on BB.com that allowed me to qualify for this place. I understand. But look at my effort levels vs what I posted. You think I'm scummy because I haven't been doing much of anything, but that's because I haven't actually gone into this very much or cared to do anything. I admit it, I haven't cared about this game much at all, and I just felt like banking on some random shenanigans and just sit back, really.

Really, I'd like to say "oh I've been busy so that's why I didn't post much yada yada", but I really haven't cared about this game, so I pop in, do stupid things, pop out. I can't even call those crumbs, really, it was just me being stupid and posting things because I could and I had fact to back them up.

This is my first game of serious forum mafia. I've been a long time troll on the Epicmafia site, but I can't actually recall a single game I've ever played seriously in, which could amount to inexperience I suppose.

I put batman because I have a hard on for his sexy bat ears. Also, I got the results "a robin" and thought, "Why not?" There was literally nothing serious meant from it. When he said sidekick, there was a little inkling of "There it is!" and in a moment of derp pride, I posted Robin in his sexy tights and just thought "Yeah... that's cool" and just kind of... went away. I really didn't mean anything by the Robin other than some type of self-pride kind of thing, so that when I came down to it, I could go back to that post and say "I totally called it."

The same thing with the Samuel picture. I simply placed that there for self-pride and nothing else. Like a feeling of "Yup, I thought this all along" and somehow guessed it with the mad skills I totally do not possess.

Also, no, I didn't see Banana's flip before I claimed. I also didn't see my last night pm until just before I claimed.

There's a million things I could send, but not a single one of them is 'a robin'. Because directly, a literal robin has NOTHING to do with being a Sidekick. Nothing! Its just a damn bird! If John has been something like

I've probably got more experience than you, but I can't ever recall a time I've actually played seriously for a whole game. I always fall back into herp-de-troll mode at some point and ride it all the way. so I must that this is honestly one of my first srs games, and also on a forum.

I only hosted those because I thought it would be fun to try. And it wasn't like it was going to be very difficult to manage with the community of BB.com.
