<p align="center">Yup, it’s one of the awesome weeks again, though it may be over earlier than usual weeks. Today we’ve been blessed with a <em>double</em> update, Music from Animal Crossings stage and one of the <em>coolest</em> Final Smashes shown so far.</p>

<p align="left">Something interesting to note (Other than Yoshi can grow feathered wings, fly and breathe fire) is this comment by Sakurai.</p>

<p align="left">What does this mean? Is he hinting that like during his second Jump, Yoshi is resistant to attacks? Again, another question that most likely will need to wait til Brawl is released before we get an answer.</p>
<p align="left">All I hope is that getting 2 updates today doesn’t mean we get nothing tomorow. Unlikely that tomorow won’t get anything, but you never know.</p>

I believe that since smash is coming closer and there are less days to let loose the info, he’s double decking it. Nice to see Yoshi’s original powers are coming back. i wonder if he does anything when he stomps the ground. Yoshi has gotten way cooler on his brawl entrance.

Oh and the Smashville song caught my breath. A brawl song has yet to be less than epic (well besides yoshi’s but it’s still cool).

lol, but really that song is great. (and I thought that Yoshi’s song was the most epic to date…)

Anyway as for Yoshi’s Final Smash I can only hope his Fire Balls do something more then just what Samus’ Charged Blast does. Perhaps explode on contact, or better yet uses the force of the blast to “stick” the opponent to hit as it drives them off the screen.

I think due to the amount of weeks left before release and the sheer amount of content in brawl probably means that we will be seeing more double updates. If we assume that the Japanese release is 22nd of Nov then we have rougly 60 updates left.

I was trying to rationalize Yoshi’s final smash to myself. He had wings in Super Mario World as the Blue Yoshi and again in Mario Strikers, right? And he could breathe fire in Super Mario World too, but more like this is Super Mario 64 DS. Am I right? I’m sorry, but it’s just surprising to see both wings and fire breath on Yoshi like this.

Everytime I hear something about Yoshi it makes me more and more excited to go back to my old main 4 brawl! I actually preicted this to be his FS.
Guys Sakurai said when he was talking about the music “Heroes always arrive late.” Do u know what that means? Heroes! Characters! of the animal crossing representation are joining the fray but he’s coming late!

That’s quite the stretch kinnikuman, but you know I’m almost convinced myself that a AC character might appear in brawl. Still I think that Sakurai was just talking randomness like in the starfox armada update when he related armada with his friend Mr. Amada.

the symbol only shows reconition. don’t you think Wrio’s symbol should’ve been the wario bomb from Warioware inc.

Its more like when (in sSuper Mario World) yoshi eats a yellow spining koopa troopa in some worlds, any yoshi can fly, and do earthquakes, and throw fireballs, i thinks its based on this, mabye he can do earthquakes to.

ive never played animal crossing so this might be obvious but is K.K slider the dog playing the guitar?

Yeah Monkey, he is.

“Go K.K. Rider!” nor the “Heroes always come late.” quote do not or even hint in any way towards Tom Nook being included as a playable character. Sure Animal Crossing is represented via a stage but that with the exception of some items will probably be it. And since when is Tom Nook a “Hero” to anyone!?

Wow….Most unexpected Final SMash ever….I thought it was gona have to do something with Eggs o.O
lol, i suppose at this rate of randomness We can expect Zero suit Zamus to tunr into a guy and Zelda to Nag players to 350% damage

does this prove yet that animal crossing chrachters in yet i mean ik its a song 2 the stage but if an animal crossing charachte rmissed the cut they would of made a assist trophy 4 it nd i dont think there making a stage a item nd a song 4 an assist trophy

Animal 214: they had to make a song for the animal crossing stage. We all want an AC character but I think Sakurai felt they would be best as spectators. In a sense that stage puts the spirit of AC in battle. Plus You can pretend Ness is the AC boy. There!

There is definitely an Animal Crossing Character in Brawl, but you can’t say with certainty that it’s Tom Nook. It could be the nameless main character you play as. We have a character called “Pokémon Trainer.” A character called “Boy” or “Girl” isn’t out of the cards.

yoshis wings are HUGE! i wonder how long it lasts… probably 40 seconds or so. the music is awesome but how does the music change when kk. slider plays? nook would be an awesome character. also, do you think yoshi should have a tether recovery? just a little one?

if 2marrows a stage it would be the best week ever but ik nothing about the series really like seriously nothing its just odd that sakurai would do all this if there wasnt 1 in the game

I don’t think, if it’s a stage, it’s going to be the Halberd. Metaknight and his ship are obviously tied in with the Adventure mode and that has something to do with why we don’t have a Metaknight or Halberd profile yet. I don’t know what it means…

Because it’s Kojima’s birthday tomorrow, I’d say there’s a slight chance of a Snake-related update. Maybe Shadow Moses or an MGS item.

And, Animal 214, Yoshi’s had wings and fire capabilities since his first appearance in Super Mario World.

I think it’s because they wanted to keep his moves based on Yoshi’s Story.

But since then Yoshi had his wings in Super Mario Strikers during his super shot or whatever (never played it) and he could breathe fire in Super Mario 64 DS.

ik that peach man but evil toad said yoshi always had this capability but 2 quote sakurai…It feels like, um…beauty and elegance…mixed with clumsiness. Certainly, no one’s ever seen Yoshi like this!….
