Trust me, my mother would encourage the trash talk. She'd try anything to get me away from this game for like, 5 seconds.
She was shocked that she was dragging me out of the house on Saturday, away from my VG stuff, just to play even more Video Games.

Once you actually meet the smash community AND interact with them and mingle and such you'll realize that we're not about ostracizing anybody. The more smashers, the merrier. I understand this message certainly does not shine through the forums and I even didn't make a good first impression because I was trolling, but please understand it's all in good fun. We're glad to have you finally show up so we can make fun of you in person. I MEAN, UH, MEET YOU IN PERSON.

It's just a curious interest that you take pride in being the best with x character in a small city where few people play competitively in a state that is lacking in competitive smash in a region that is overall lacking in competitive smash. When I started out, I certainly didn't make any unnecessary claims for any reason because I understood that people were a lot better than I was at the game. I'm not trying to knock you down for being proud of your achievements and it's great that you're setting goals for yourself, but superfluous titles like that only get you to be the butt of jokes... as you've already experienced, it seems.

It's not about your reputation as a player, dude. It's about being a part of the community. We're all friends here and the more smashers, the merrier.

I'm choosing to wait. I can take the fact that i'm not known or anything, but i got pointed out because of my signature, and i had nothing to back it up since i'm not even of notice.

I'm waiting until i feel like i'm at the appropriate skill level to prove myself at a full scale tournament. I'm planning for such a wide furture in GA's Smash Scene, when i've yet to start training. Maybe later, though, i knew i was too young to start anything for myself, oh well >_<

Well... see, that's the problem. You improve the best and the fastest from going to tournaments. Not only does it provide invaluable offline experience (which is where all the glory, fun, and money are), but it also prepares you for the pressure of tournament play.

See, what you're doing can be compared via this handy analogy!

If anything, come to play offline and meet the community. By playing with us and having a good time it becomes a regular, and you will come to ask yourself "man why didn't I do this sooner?"
