And in general, if we allow the PR to get bogged down by the fact that there aren't much more than 10 active melee-ers in the state, then what's the point?

We have to believe that this will incite a change in that, and that people will want to improve in order to get their name on the shiny-list that means so much for no reason sometimes.

@Chaddd- You'll remain #1 as long as you show your face at any tournament that breaks 16 attendees or more than 5$ entry fee.
My logic behind this is similar to when I said we put XIF at #2 when he moved to GA:

"Who in GA can beat XIF? Chaddd. That's why XIF's #2."

By the same logic, who in GA can beat Chaddd?
Soft is the only one I've seen do it in tournament recently, thats for **** sure.

So as long as you still dish out the ***-whoopings when there's enough people or money on the line to ensure that you should be motivated to play, I see no reason to touch your #1 spot.

I typed up a pretty big reply on how I see any pr should be represented and compiled, but as I don't think it'll be received the way it's meant to be, I'll hold off and talk to sleepy and co. at SoD and then I guess proceed from there.

Why the **** would they put you on there when I JUST MOVED FROM GA. My possibility of being on the list is 100x higher than yours despite teh fact I live in Fl now.

I'm dangerously close to inactive on Gayboards, but I remember winning the last million Georgia Melee tournaments with similar plans for the rest of them.

In fact you still haven't put up the vids from the last one.

Gerbil - haven't seen in a long time. doesn't exist.
Alpha - I've never seen him except in broad daylight, but he exists.
DP - dp is dp
Ares - was scarred in another beard battle with wes. he's in the hospital, not playing smash
Reflex - Brawl.
Prac - actually showed up to dsj and placed. from what i hear you guys and prac weren't getting along.
Seph - who is seph? doesn't exist
Jx31 - jx is active enough from what i hear from the rest of ga and dogy. he went to ROM.
Torg - torg doesn't exist
Nice1 - nice1 plays barlw and is pretty ok at it from my al thread lurking
Tsunami - last i remember from him he johned about melee and then started playing brawl. oh wait, he was at some tournament where he played brawl friendlies.
Jewdo - doesn't exist
Peru - last time active in GA - AWA, playing brawl
Nytez - who is this guy doesn't exist

so how many of you actually play melee? i don't mean "show up and play brawl or other games and eventually will play some melee" or "plays with us once in a while so we'll count him as active" i mean plays actively. srs actively.

anyway, as far as columbo goes if you really have that many active players (who don't have any tournaments) then i think alpha is a good representative. prac is also fine but if he isn't getting along with the rest of columbus i think there might be some bias for and against him so i'd prefer not to step on that landmine
