I'm surprised Geno or Mallow wasn't in Kingdom Hearts or in that Playstation Smash-knockoff thing.

Honestly, the more I think about it the more something seems wrong with this picture.

Well, to be fair they made their first appearance in a Mario game, that's why I think they are unlikely to be seen again anytime soon outside of anything they may work on with Nintendo.

It would've been awesome if they were in Kingdom Hearts as allies or summons, or something though.

No, if everyone is shouting for Cloud or Sora, they would have more priority. It's not a matter of who has "more Nintendo connections", otherwise we would have had Simon Belmont instead of Snake.
We have three cases of 3rd Parties, one was from creator request, the other two from fan popularity.

So, if Geno has less demand than Cloud or Sora, they would have higher "priority". Unless Squaresoft goes to him and requests Geno, anyway.
That being said, Sakurai has to find reason to include the character, since he holds 3rd Parties in a high regard.
He found Snake worthy. He found Sonic worthy. He found Mega Man worthy. What do these three characters have in common? They are all "All-Stars".
If viewing Geno in the same plane as them, he's not going to be seen as worthy. Cloud and Sora, as overrated they are (even more than Geno), they are more "All-Star" than him.
That being said, however, a Dragon Quest character (such as Slime, the mascot) would reasonably be "chosen" over all of them.

So I reiterate; Geno would have more of a chance if Sakurai sees him as a Nintendo character, which he seems to.

OK, 2 things.

1. The Mr. Lange guy gave a bunch of terrible reasons for Ridley to NOT be in Smash 4, and claimed the Ridley is the worst AND most ridiculous choice for a newcomer.

Maybe in the original 64 or Melee perhaps. in Brawl, however, there was more of an effort to include stages for every character, returning and debuting, as well as ones who didn't get it beforehand. If Geno was theoretically in the game, and I'm only saying theoretically, then he may have good chances of a stage, considering Sakurai's recent efforts toward characters and their respective stages. Even Luigi got a stage! If only Geno WAS in the game.....

well Luigi has his own game series thats why he got his own stage
the thing is the rights for Geno are not the right to all of SRPG if we somehow get Geno and nintendo wanted a SMRP stage they would have to obtain even more rights (the right to use certain ares although I know Square owns the characters but is that all they own or do they own the game .... who owns the rights to what)

Yeah, the fact that they're working together again is literally Geno's only hope of ever returning.

I still find it mind-boggling that people at AlphaDream can get Square to let them use Geno for a cameo in M&L:SS, but no one else could bother to ask them. I read once that some of the original directors, composers, etc. for SMRPG went to AlphaDream and they had the clout to get him in... I wonder if that's true.

The reason why the Impa thread can't be used as an example is because Impa is not a character I hate. What I hate is the idea that Diddy Kong shoves down people's throats that Impa must replace Sheik because of bull**** "relevancy" reasons and constant Sheik bashing.
Bashing in that thread from me is towards him, not towards the character.

I've been giving legitimate discussion to this thread, and you claim all I'm doing is trolling the thread "as I constantly do" and saying nothing of importance "once again". So you reap what you sow, *****.

It's not my fault that you secretly have woof for Geno (which would explain why you constantly bash homosexuals; because you can't come to terms with your own sexuality) to where you can't accept anything other that people saying how much they love him.
This isn't the first time this had happened. I remember you raising a fit on the roster discussion thread over someone's viewpoint on Geno and bashed the Mother series on top of that.

Your criticisms are far from constructive (which you're too stupid to see), and my criticisms are towards a particular forum user who is a chronic Sheik-basher. I've said on multiple occasions that Impa as a combination of a mage and ninja fighter (as in, like Zelda and Sheik combined) would be cool. But NOT at the expense of Sheik.

You're the one who's been dumping into Mother threads and gone total gorilla on people who want Mother reps, so don't shoo someone away from a thread when he doesn't even express hate towards the character, he just states the character's role in his game, and he's right, Geno is in no way the main character of SMRPG. You know, I've been trying to make people go a little easy on you, but this is just plain hypocritical. The comments you've been dropping in the Mother threads in which you have dumped into and gone totally bananas on, going as far as saying you want the entire franchise cut from the game, have added nothing but hate and dislike to the discussions, thus nothing of importance.

People absolutely abhorred Noah, but he's redeeming himself. Granted, he has some really odd character suggestions and defenses, but he's starting to show respect to everyone. You're hated on here because you are giving NO ONE respect. If you keep up your semantics you'll end up being blocked.
