Super Mario All-Stars is going to get a REMAKE (not a VC release) for the Wii this year to celebrate Mario's 25th Anniversary, and will include a booklet reviewing Mario's history plus a soundtrack CD featuring music from SMB to SMG2.

Thoughts? I'm hoping for remakes of the original Mario Bros, Donkey Kong ['94], Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2, and Super Mario 64 to be on it too, and a Wiimote-compatible version of SMS if that isn't pushing it, which I probably am.

It's about time that stupid kid got banned for good...It's sad though in a way. He was given many chances to improve his attitude, but I guess he didn't learn anything from all those time he was banned temporarily.

Well, it will apparently be a "discount" title as it is going to sell for the Japanese equivalent of thirty dollars. [keep in mind it comes with a soundtrack cd too, though I'm hoping the cheapness doesn't mean it's just a set of SNES-ified ports]

I think the whole point of being super banned is that you can't log in, but non-registered users can see the forums just fine, so I assume banned members can too.

Yeah, this seems like a good idea but, like you, I'd like to see them include some of the lesser known games. Most long time fans have played through the first 4 mario games already but not everyone has played games like SML or Yoshi's island.

If this pack will include the GB Color Mario Tennis in it (long shot, yep), I'd grab it in a heart beat.
Seeing Mario Lands 1 and 2 back on the market would be a nice gift as well. As well as Yoshi's Island.
And maybe I can finally beat SMBLL for the first time.

Guys, I must confess. I don't like Super Paper Mario.
I finished TTYD and loved it, then got SPM and...gosh it just doesn't add up to a Paper Mario game for me.

★ I like Super Paper Mario, one of the main reasons is the replay value, there's more stuff to do after you beat the game, much more than TTYD. They should had kept the sounding areas 3D, maybe that would had been much better, that and make the boss battles much harder, I don't think I've ever died once in SPM. XD ♛

Eh, I didn't think SPM was that bad, it was very easy, but it was fun and it had a cute story too. But what do I know? I've not even played TTYD yet! =O
For some reason I was going to try and look for it after I finished M&L:SS, but I'm stuck on the 4th Popple fight, I think I should've grinded(?) more >: so I'm probably going to give up and buy TTYD soon (I mean, it's not like a always say that and never actually do it >.>).

Speaking of morals, I just remembered watching some of a LOZ OOT playthrough and one guy said at the spirit temple when you're fighting the axe guy, "Remember kids, the best way to fight is to roll behind your opponent and stab him in the back."
