lol guess im bored and had a couple questions about ic's like when you play as nana do you remember not to call popo nana? lol

anyways i was wondering if i can get some tips on gannon and peach becaus i have the most problems with them and when chain grabbing them via d-throw dair does it work better when you jump in in front with nana with the dair instead of jumping in place?

well im just looking for some quick tips thats all

well for ganon I suggest the dthrow to dair works very well so keep that up, for peach it doesn't really work, the only thing i suggest is counterpick.

I'm pretty sure Peach can be dthrow dair chained...I've seen it plenty of times.

Just make sure you're actually short hopping the dair. I had this problem at first. When doing the dthrow dair chain a full jump will look like a short hop, so you have to literally short hop the dair and Nana will barely leave the ground. It looks like a short short hop

Sup Lucky. So dude, when am I going to get to see those climbers of yours? I keep hearing and seeing obviously that you play them, but I've still yet to see you playing them once. Next tourny, dude, next tourny. But yeah, Ganon's kinda hard to cg cause of his weight, but it's definitely possible till high %'s. Just learn to try and read the DI. It's pretty hard at first, but it becomes exponetially easier w/just a bit of practice. On Peach: LoL, idk man. I just can't take the matchup, I always cp. But if you stick w/them, then all the luck to you. See yah around man...

Ok man two things to start
1) To be a tru IC user SSBM kinda messed up the climbers. Nothing within the game denotes the IC's changing place. IC in front is Popo, IC in back (CP) is Nana. Lol sorry I dont like being chicks in video games. (Sexist I know but my Video game hero is knuckles a man's man) ANYWAY the rant stops on this now

2) I only have a few tips for ganon and peach
a) Ganon's forward b the ground kick is always stopped by a shffl'd d air wit Both ICs or not. Jus incase u find one spamming it. Next Shffld Up aerials to a ganon in the low air above you to foward smash is great. Finally the last is 2 finishing grabs. One is Chu's nasty D throw to nana U smash. The second is what i call the street sweeper. You f throw to nana spike and when they tech tech chase them with a D wavesmash. Jus pure kills there.

b) Peach all I can say is no WD when in close, jus results in down smash punishment. And abuse her turnips, short hop ice cube to block them or jst shied w/e knocks em up and grab em. Well worth the effort to have another item to retaliate wit. Also turnip beatdown is morale beater

Well jus my ideas both chars still give me a rough time so tell me what you think.

wrong. when you change to the red or orange ice climber in the front, you can see that their hair switches. the girl has the bangs and the dude has the messy hair.

Ok but if you ever played the old nintendo version(that is also up for purchase on WII) you would see that is something not based from the original game. SSBM made change position, but in the actual game nana is only 2nd player period doesnt change. SSBM had them change positions but it dont come from the original game, Hence incorrect.

Sorry just like i said tho im very picky about this stuff

Whotf cares about the character switch? It's just made to provide a tad more variety and enjoyment into the game. I was slightly picky about Link having the boomberang and Y. Link having fire arrows at first, but what does it matter, really? And all your "help" was, really, not that helpful...

1. Ganon's overB isn't the Wizard's foot; that's down B. And if you're playing against a Ganon who's spamming either overB or downB, then your competition could use some serious improvement.
2. What do you mean no WD'ing while close? You mean don't try to WD away when you're already in close? If so, then how else can you get away? And WD'ing in is the best and ONLY way to punish her if she missed a running attack or a dsmash. Phrase your wording more clearly. Also, how can you abuse her turnips? The only thing you can possibly do, like you said, is block, jump up and air grab them, but by that time a good Peach will have already thrown another or be running or floating towards you to punish such a response.
3. Peach's dsmash isn't as devastating when ppl just get used to DI'ing up. Of course it's still a killer move, no doubt, but just practice readying yourself to hold up when in close, and it'll never hit you more than once, usually giving yourself time to recover before she has a chance to be all up on your grill again, as the ***** most often is. *shakes fist at Cheap, I mean Peach* Anyways, not trying to dump on your parade, I just don't like to see people giving help or advice that kind of does the opposite of what it's meant to, you know?

i.... i don't think that's possible
You can definitely WD out of the lightshield...problem is, lightshielding causes you to slide back further and I think gives more shieldstun, so it'd be very hard to WD grab a Peach after a D-smash.

yeah, I was under the impression the shield stun was way too much to wd grab.

To start im not being rude just responding to your reaction.

A) the wizards foot direction comment was just a mistake my bad. And also in the case of his foward B the Slider punch, even good C. falcon's use it as do some Ganon players. The people I play against are good just are not fans of the conventional "styles" for certain charcters

B) As far as the dont WD near peach comment, I meant dont wavedash into peach, thats just common knowledge due to the fact that 9 times out of 10 youll get punished. I dash dance the go in screw up the peach players mindgames, maybe get a misfired downsmash.
As far as the WD out of lightshield is awesome thanks.

Overall just some miscommunications sorry. BTW the whole not being nana thing is jus personal lol.

K. For the record though, Falcon's overB is leagues better than Ganon's, but even his should only be used occasionally; Ganon's even less so...
