no it actually was hacked. you can modify pit's goddess with any image, as long as you hacked the game correctly (you need to modify game files and reburn a new disk, at least until the dynamic SD loader is released)

Interesting. Though I don't like the idea of hacking anyway since that can mess up your game data quite easily.

it's actually really hard to mess up game data, unless you do the wrong things... and of course even if it gets messed up, it can easily be fixed... but only by using hacks

i just can't wait til we can load up any textures from the dynamic sd loader
then you can play as anything

the best looking one so far imo is fox as a storm trooper:

these texture hacks are modifications to the game's textures, re-inserted into the game's data. to make them available in-game, one would have to burn another copy of brawl, and load it with a backup loader

with the dynamic sd loader, someone can put textures on the characters in brawl while the game is running, with out the need to burn another disk. it is a general way to load data from an sd card, and could hypothetically load anything into brawl that it didn't already have. but i believe, along with codes to use this loader, the sd card must have a specific program on it to load files, as i don't think wiird codes are enough to "load" the files off of the sd card.

Does that mean that I could download hacks onto it without using the homebrew channel or the Twilight thing?

but it means you only need an sd card and access twilight princess for the wii

before, stuff like this was only available with buying a usbgecko device, or burning edited extra copies of a game and loading them with a loader

why did nintendo have to make hacking so hard. I used to just buy an action replay and be happy, but nooo i have to buy a sd card, sd card reader, and twilight princess. i think nintendo needs to be sue'd for this lol
