Full Metal, Devin, and Desire have better Marths than me. Plus, "Love hurts." Vids.

Full Metal and Devin (zCasanova?) since they placed higher, with Full Metal winning with Marth only (sans the Fox battles against me).

Full Metal:

versus Edoksil? (Diddy Kong) Match 1
versus Edoksil? (Diddy Kong) Match 2
versus Edoksil? (Diddy Kong) Match 3

Devin:

versus Meta Marth/Galaxy (Meta Knight)

Desire:

versus Meta Marth/Galaxy (Meta Knight) 1
versus Meta Marth/Galaxy (Meta Knight) 2
versus Meta Marth/Galaxy (Diddy Kong)

Also, my sister was playing Roy's Fire Emblem (Fuuin no Tsurugi), and Lilina (main supported pair Roy x Lilina) was Berserk'd by the boss of Chapter 16x.

Needless to say, love can hurt, badly:

Why Roy isn't in Brawl? Very well plausible.

Stop downin' on yourself, your Marth is fine. You actually do a few things that I'd like to be able to incorporate into my game--for example: your dolphin slash--you're always spot-on with it. I don't think I've seen another Marth abuse that move's invicibility frames as well as you do.

As far as your match up problems go, MK is just tough for us--but we've go to take that in stride and use the few advantages we have over him: grab release, low % tipper KO's, etc.

Fox on the other hand... I don't really have any advice as far as that goes, I haven't played a 'good' Fox, yet. Even so, there's still one thing that applies to every match up out there--mind games. If you can consistently outsmart your opponent, then you have nothing to worry about, but the only way to develop this skill is through actual tournament experience. Just give it time and it'll happen, stop worrying about who's the better Marth and just have fun.

Viet, stop playing around. Full Metal was either Sandbagging really hard (because that Diddy was subpar), or he's just also subpar, and much worse than you.

Devin is good. Plays safe, but fails to punish often. Better than you? Probably not. I can't call.

Desire jumped into MKs attacks at first (but shaped up and started using that counter correctly), likes to SB to stop MK approaches (bad idea), and fails to edgehog, AND foolishly tried to edgeguard MetaKnight (asking to get SLed). (still a decent Marth, just some friendly CC)

So . . . chyeah, and no. You're a bit more solid from what I've seen.

I believe you, I can merely point out the mistakes you made in that match/matchup. It's not that you did nothing right, moreover that you gain more if I tell you what you did wrong.

We all make mistakes, I've lost to my share of Metaknights as well. Like I said, just friendly constructive criticism.
