Fox's shine reflected my upB the other way, explain!

You're inputting. You pressed B twice, and happened to hold the other way when he shined you.

Even if you think you only pressed it once, you might have buffered it some how....

Watch it frame by frame, you'll see 2 "take offs"

This is what happened. Somehow, SL was input twice.

Indeed. You cancelled the knockback of the Shine though... and that is what is interesting. Not the fact that he inputted it twice... And I thought Shine had a lot of hitstun... Guess not. This could be a pretty good find vs fox, cause if you had Shuttle Looped toward fox, you would have stage spiked him.

You buffered another.

Similar moves with similar hitstun could probably stagespike, you just did it the wrong way.

I think he teched/possibly tech jumped the shine after it knowcked him into the stage, and he immediately inputted SL again, in the other direction. I looked at it close and saw the yellow "spark" usually identified with a tech.
