Four Corners Smash Tournament

This is a large scale tournament, and I'm inviting people from all around the four corners states to join in on a large scale tournament. We will be using Tio, and it will be held in Farmington, New Mexico. The Venue is being worked with right now, but is planned at the Framington Civic Center. I will need TV's and Cubes if people have them extra, and please keep in mind this thread is still being built, this is just a heads up so people can decide whether they can make it or not.


The date, now set in stone, is December 1st.

Mostly standard MLG, only all infinites allowed, excluding Wobbles. (sorry Ferdi). I'll get way more detailed by Saturday, I promise ^.^

(FD, Battle Field, YS, Pokemon Stadium, Fountain of Dreams on random)

2/3 w/ counterpicks, and 1 banned stage from each opponent if chosen.

Ferdi, I don't have a way of planning a tournament in an area I don't live in ^.^

I don't even know how to wobble, seriously, I hate ICs. You should edit first post every so often or every update so we know what's happening.

Hope the tournoment is the next saturday not on the 17th or else i wont be able to come.

I can't go at all on the 17th, and if it's on the 24th, flights are going to be PACKED, since it's Thanksgiving weekend.

I could try to catch a flight out-- I work for an airline company, so I can fly for free as long as there's room on the plane. But I doubt there'll be any.

If for some this is delayed, and some Northern Utahns are driving through, I might be able to hop aboard one of thier cars-- but things are looking grim for me.

hey guys, do you think the 24th would be better? We can arrange for a better date ^.^ What would be most convenient for everyone (majority rules) The saturday after the 24th is duable (I think that's December 1st).

I'll be visiting Arizona the weekend before December 1st, so I could give everyone a ride from Arizona to the tournament and back ^.^

And all the Colorado smashers can stay at my place, its limited though. (I mean Ferdi, Rafa, you guys)

And Wobbles, if you remember 7734 from Texas (Kenneth), he said you can crash at his place because he lives near me now.

My new main will not be revealed up until we play. Hopefully you guys can get over to farmington this weekend. I actually moved back. I am going to travel from farmington to albuquerque strictly to keep up rank in both systems.

Also we should make a bad *** banner for the tourney and give it some sort of name. Because if you make it a success (which I assume it will be) I or whoever else can keep it up as annual thing. Who knows what if this area becomes one of those eccentric places to go to play smash?
