Never heard any mention of this so here it is:

Just grab the enemy near the edge of the map and use snakes down throw(the distance where he end up is where you see the animation change), as soon as you let the victim go plant the C4, if it work you will see the C4 somewhere on the enemy, after that run like hell because just touching the enemy will transfer the c4 to you, attacks won't transfer it but it can drop it for some reason.

Dude...lol. This is just a really general strategy of more specific ones that ahve already been discussed. Use it if you want, but next time if it's something small like this, may as well just post it in the Snake discussion thread or something.

if you have a good enough read on your opponent that you know where hes going to roll/not roll, sticking is still not good. if its at low %, tech chase chain grabs will get more damge. at high % i'd rather kill him straight up than setup some fancy tricks.

best time to use a c4 is when you are behind the villain and his shield is up. stick him, then let his shield drain for a bit, then nair him/AAA him. you will get atlesat 2 nair hits in (the most powerful), then use c4.

Yeah,...there was already a really good thread about the best ways to stick opponents. You should probably search before you create a thread...

It has basically been proven that the best way to stick people is to power shield and then use the C4. It works really well and is straight up beastly. Using the down throw doesn't work too well unless you have been tech chasing and getting hits on them right after the down throw.. They might try to lay down a bit longer to throw you off. That's pretty much the only time the down throw to stick works. Just power shield and stick... It rappz.

They will just roll out of the way before you plant if they have any smarts.
So? if they roll out of the way near the edge of the map then its a guarantee stick, if they roll to one side then a short dash sticks works too, not sure if blocking stick thing works when they recover hit, but I see no reason it shouldn't. I tried it against toon link which should be harder than most other opponents since he has a small frame, not to mention that the only way to not get hit by it is to block leaving him wide open.

Also In a 4 man free for all remember that some other characters are already on a high %, so it is a good strategy since most opponents see snake grenade shielding and throwing mortals(sp?) and go like screw this I'm not going near this guy, they usually don't even know it until the other 3 go bye bye by an explosion that happened out of nowhere.

FFA doesn't really mean anything, though. Most play 1v1 or 2v2. Don't waste your time attempting down throw sticks a lot. Just power shield stick. It's a LOT better and it actually works most of the time.

But It means everything if you play FFA, a lot of people play FFA too, also even on 1v1 it works. And yeah shield stick its awesome, obviously better and more useful, but if they roll to the edge for whatever reason in a 1v1(and when fighting against a snake that could be a claymore, grenades and even mortars)you are guaranteed to plant the C4 stick.

It's not really competitive or meaningful skill wise if it's FFA though. Eventually there's gonna be only three people left. Then its just a session of backstabbing and cheap team up kills and by the time it's down the the last two, it's most likely uneven and therefore doesn't prove much.
