I don't really play, but it seems that all it comes down to is micro, knowing what to buy for your hero, and teamwork.

Is the micro and teamwork really that deep?

Cool. A friend just got me into League of Legends, which is supposed to be a ripoff. I kinda like it and he says it's pretty much the same thing as DotA but it doesn't have the unnecessary WCIII stuff.

theres no denying

which changes laning completely. melee doesnt get ***** by ranged early game (level 1 is my favorite).

now instead of having good micro, and cutting your opponents xp by a good amount, everyone gets free xp for standing in the right spot. the game is less about you and more about playing as a team.

and by that i mean the entire late game is team fights. instead of having depth,

everyone go mid. individuals are weaker in lol. like 1 person cant swing the flow of the game they way they could in dota

idk i still like it tho

Oh okay. I kinda get what you mean but I'd understand it better if I knew what denying was.

Edit: Unless denying is the same thing as walling with units.

denying is being able to kill your own units and towers when they are at very low hp in order to stop the other team from killing it and getting the xp/gold associated with it.

also creep blocking is basically taken out.

This is interesting, though, as you said in the replay, I think it has little useful application. The curve is very slight, and makes it hard to actually "go around" units. I suppose there are some situations where it might be handy to be able to do this, though they're rare.

I have done the port forwarding nonsense in order to host, but when I tried to download LC **** got screwy. When I tried extracting the file to the folder that I made named Listchecker, it said the path for the file was either corrupted or missing or some ****. Anyone know what I'm talking about or can help?

try cleaning out registry or something

or you can play the THR hosted games; the hosting's pretty good, and the stat-tracking somewhat cuts down the leavers by a bit

there's also t2 (closed) system once your rating in t1 (the public games) gets high enough

skill level isn't all that great, but its not bad for publicy hosted games

thr t1 is just a regular pub with stats

in order to get into t2 (the closed league) you have to get an elo of over 1200 in t1 (the open league)

i'm below average at dota.... but ya panda is like my favorite hero

just because i love to thunder clap and split those heros after ult

I forgot exactly when but when nevermore and lion ganked bottom lane, I ulted and cycloned nevermore and stunned lion at the same time

that was pretty cool! lol

but ya panda is an easy hero to play so its nothing impressive.
