im not seeing any 'full proof' really. After its performed the first time, the second yoshi tries to dash the leadge missing his chance. The third attempt strikes MK at about a 45 degree angle sending him screen right instead of down. Awhile later the same stunt is performed, the spike is successful yet the meta knight still recovers even at 100% ish damage. It then happends over and over again. So this isnt full proof by any means. If timed and executed well, it'll KO but the video results should speak for itself. Its not full proof.

I hadn't bothered to look at the video, but I read the majority of the posts in the forum. They made it sound like some kind of godsend.

I'll edit the first post, then.

Still, this does seem like it could be a bit of a problem.

It's not that big of a deal. Bwett was doing that to me and after you see it coming it's easy to DI away from and/or jump out of.

Observe at 3:03, then 3:30 and 3:59: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4u3Kd2JG-s

In related news, I make about a million mistakes in this video and he shreds me for it.

Just so you know:
The general consensus on the Yoshi board is that this is a pretty helpful technique. It certainly doesn't make or break the matchup, but it's something to be aware of, since it helps Yoshi out in an area where he is usually pretty lackluster.
But I wouldn't really make a huge deal out of it. Like Infinity said, I've noticed that you can just DI away.

i was just playing vs TKD's yoshi yest. and it actually does work but the yoshi has to be extremely accurate for it to work on mk.
