To all smashers (MAINLY TOURNEY HOSTS) I noticed this last tourney (Esam's) I forgot about it until now. Dfear and I were teaming against someone else. And during the match he shot a peanut and it hit someone and the peanut fell on the ground and I got a heal because of it. No other Wii has ever had that on. I'm pretty sure it was Slashy's wii. I just wanna know is this allowed? Or do we need to make sure all the wiis have any kind of item things turned off so the peanuts dont fall onto the stage?

I was also meaning to ask about tripping also. How does FL feel about it? Should tripping be turned off? I know a lot of people have mixed reactions to this but if a game comes down to last hit and a person loses because of tripping and then being F-Smashed, wouldn't that just be really strange. I've heard from others that it is just a variable that can be taken out. (As you stated earlier, you weren't sure about peanuts being able to appear as health.

I really can't have a side for if tripping should be turned on or off because I've never lost a match because of that reason. What does the FL players think and should this be discussed?

SSGuy, it's been discussed like, 4 BILLION times. I have lost a set to tripping, it happens. It's an element of the game influenced by dashing, so it's not "random" persay. But the way i look at it is like, Pokemon.

Critical hits can be altered in how often they appear, ie items. Though, they are still random when you get them. Tripping is like that too.

Even though i agree the game is alot more fun without tripping, because it takes the complete element of random deaths out of the game, we can't until everyone at tournaments has the ability to take it off, or if everyone in fl agrees.
Everyone's had their share of tripping deaths.

I'm pro taking off tripping. But obv it's not up to me. I don't remember the reasoning last time though. popcorn.gif

I'm going to assume radix was the first one to figure it out.

In singles, my Hydreigon missed a Draco Meteor and my remaining team was then swept by Scarfchomp.

In doubles, I missed 2 Rock Slides and 2 Energy Balls vs. a nearly-dead Mamoswine. In the mean time, it took out my Archeops, Haxorus, and almost finished my Reuniclus (it was too damage to survive his Lapras). No double team/decreased accuracy. It had to have been a haxed Brightpowder.

Both were ~47th challenge. Subway hax suck.

/currently breeding for perfect IVed Dragon team and trying to find my Diamond for my perfectly IVed Garchomp/Salamence/etc.

btw i informed justin that im down for the georgia regional tourney. I only had 1 planned pokemon that wasnt B/W pokedex so i have to go through and re-make sure i got all my types down

I actually have planned out 7 pokemon in total to train. 2 special sweepers, 2 physical sweepers, 1 healer, 1 annoyer/tank, and 1 rapid spinner. Just so i have some variety to choose from when im playing

you best believe Hydreigon and Haxorus are both one of my special/physical sweepers respectively. damn dragons
