Normally I'd agree with you and while it takes up the spot of a more deserving 3rd party, Sakurai already has the rights to sonic in brawl. It wouldn't be hard at all to get the same for knuckles. plus knuckles is a born fighter.

The guy says Ness is a playable character. That right there is enough to know it's fake. he also confirms Dixie Kong, who we all know is deconfirmed, seeing as her trophy is completely undetailed compared to Diddy's.

Mr. Game & Watch who? Pichu= Failure. WTF? Young Link? Who is Roy? Seems awfully familiar to Melee. This rumor is most likely wrong, but you guys- its not because your favorite character isn't in. I am expecting when the actual roster is revealed to feel about the same as when Melee's roster was revealed.

This was such a nice attempt at tricking everyone.
These guys went into so much detail to make us think that this couldn't be a trick, but they just didn't check their info thoroughly enough.
If they hadn't made so many obviously false claims, people might have actually believed this. It would've been fun at least.

Even when the REAL LEAK does come, everyone will just say it's fake. Just like when Melee was about to come out. History repeats itself.
so supposedly he´s a beta tester and wont reveal his identity, yet he states he was ranked 17 in the private beta ladder? he just gave himself up to the company. besides. if he were a beta tester i guess the overpowered knuckles wouldve been reported and fixed. unless he thinks he is OP and went all /emo on us.

While alot seems very possible and pieces at times may even sound likely, i'll look at this as something that I can imagine Sakurai pulling together, but i'll wait a few weeks for the confirmations. I have no problems with the character list though. And I can easily see Plusle and Minun as the Pichu replacement. Though some characters do seem like they'd be redundant.

It was mixed. I didn't want Dr.Mario, Pichu, and Young Link (and for that matter Roy in). I didn't want clones in. The roster left much to be desired. But Melee is my favorite game of all time, so in the end it all worked out.

The only thing so far that really makes me think this could be fake is the Serebii thing. Everyone else is claiming its fake because of things that seem unlikely but are entirely possible (afterall, it is Sakurai). If this isn't the real thing I'm betting the actual real thing will seem just as suprising.
