Fire Emblem Sucks

Everyone is blowing the Fire Emblem games outta porportion. The games suck. The characters sucked in Melee. Why even waste a character on them?

A lot of people like the Fire Emblem games.

I've never liked the Metroid games, but I'm fine with Samus and Ridley being in the game.

yea thats ur opinion i think the games are great...nd roy was my main in melee...nd ike will prolly be my main in brawl unless some cooler character from the series shos up

How did we get such an increase in the n00b topics lately? Time to milk this for all it's worth...

Random SSBB developer: Hey Sakurai, there's this guy on Smashboards claiming Fire Emblem sucks.

Sakurai: I gonna agree man. We should have never put Marth or Roy in Melee. The games really do suck. I mean, tactic RPG based game play and a large focus on story telling does not a good game make. Marth sucked in Melee, despite what the metagame would have us believe. I just got a great idea. We fire everyone who ever brought FE to the light of Americans and for tomorrow's update after a two hour delay, de-confirm Ike and anything else FE-related. Mindgames son!

Random SSBB developer: Well, it's about time you listened to the fans. They clearly know what's best for the game.

Where's that one guy with objection link when you need him. Its obvious you're trying to turn this into a flame war. You make a statement involving no logic at all. Why is it getting harder to find decent threads? Oh well.

WTF. The FE games were cool strategy gamesand Marth and Roy were fun characters to play with in SSBM.....even though marth was amazing

Finally someone with a good opinion... THey should have only included ike in the ssbb in japan... Most True Americans Hate it... I'm 100% American and i hate it... Well i guess marth and roy sucked in *COugh* Everygame they were included in*cough*

Oh god, don't bring that bullcrap into this topic. A "True American" isn't defined by what game they play... and if you think that you're an idiot.

I don't know about you, but I think it's rather unfair to remove a character from the American version... that'd make me mad, personally.

Funny how FE sales in the US exploded after Marth and Roy were in Melee...yeah, we hate FE over here...

A whole lot more people are happy with seeing Ike in then those who ain't. Besides, how can they possibly "trade" from within the same game?

they did that with the Soul Calibur (i think i spelled that wrong; wow) games in Korea...
they switched out Mitsurugi for some dude named Arthur...
i dont know if they did that with Soul Calibur III though...
and i also dont know if that had anything to do with what you were saying...

Well, that's YOUR opinion, but it is most definately not mine! Path of Radiance just so happened to be a great game, with good characters and storyline. Marth and Roy were awesome characters in Melee (especially Marth) and I'm glad that because of them, they brought Fire Emblem to the US. It would've been unfair to have kept the series Japan only. And what's with all this "true American" crap. So basically because I liked the game, I'm not "true American". Seriously, that's just plain stupid to assume stuff like that.

FE characters did not suck in Melee..... did you just unlock Marth and Roy? and dont know anything about them.....have you unlocked Jigglypuff yet?
