Final Fantasy XIII

"At Square Enix's press conference at E3 in Los Angeles, the company officially announced Final Fantasy XIII for the PlayStation 3. Square Enix then proceeded to show a trailer from the game, in which a female protagonist is seen flying around a city. Video shown in the trailer was entirely realtime except for a short sequence of rendered footage showing a train -- our "Away Team" who saw the trailer said it looked "incredible", and will be reporting back further details after the SCE conference today at 4PM PST.

The game is being created by the same team behind Final Fantasy X. The game runs on the "White Engine", an all-new exclusive next-gen engine built for Square Enix's future games. It was originally planned for the PlayStation 2 but was later moved to the PS3. This game is part of the three-part saga, Fabula Nova Crystallis FF XIII, which also includes a cellphone prequel RPG and another PS3 title called FF Versus XIII, an action game by the makers of Kingdom Hearts." - IGN

Darned lucky japanese with their superior gaming magazines! Every little thing is analyzed. They have great attention to detail. They zoomed in on parts of her hair, eyes, and other stuff...*hint hint*bleach! Anyways, twelve hasn't even come out yet. And why are the heroes all females now?

IMO I think that part one is gonna suck becouse the guy that made 10 and 10-2 is the director however, nomura (the guy that made 6, 7, 8, and 9) is working on final fantasy versus 13 (part 2) so im skeptical of part one but i cant rest easy knowing that part 2 will be great

This looks gorgeous, although I am annoyed at them having delayed XII for ages already z.z But the graphics and the backgrounds look absolutely amazing :O Her costume design is really nice too :3 <3

God **** that looks beautiful. Nice find man. Too bad i'm not getting a PS3. 360 all the way. My cousin's getting a PS3 though so we'll switch systems from time to time. I also made an interesting observation that Captain Obvious McHat might agree with; the game has a fururistic kind of feel to it.

I wonder if there is even another character besides this girl. For some reason those pictures weren't showing fully, so I couldn't see if there was someone else or not, but, I dunno. Just kinda' weird to me that there's already a FFXIII announced.

I know this is off topic but anyone with knowledge about FFX please respond in a very specific manner.

What should I do to beat Seymour or whatever for the last time*that very hard boss battle at Gagaza Mountain or something* I really need help there. And yes, I am able to use Hastaga, as well as Bio with Lulu. Also, I have Bahamut, Ifrit, Shiva, Yojimbo, Ixion, Volevare(sp?) all in overdrive mode+all main characters. I know that Bio is key but can you post a step by step process? Thanks. Yes, I am also able to use dispel, shell, and protect with Yuna.

I just hope it doesn't turn out like Final Fantasy X-2... as long as its got the bare minimum similarities with that game then I'm happy. The trailer looks interesting, still not sure if I like the fact that they have FF-XIII in three games, but hey, I suppose they can do it if they want, I will probably only buy one though.

The game is beautiful, it's the sole reason I'm getting a job. (I'm not a bum I just don't "need" too yet, but I "need" that, not "want") That game looks so beautifully designed and well made, sure it only took maybe four thousand years but I bet it's worth it, just like Twilight Princess was. FFXIV is another story though. (I quit FFXI recently, mmo life isn't that great..) but yeah, nice pictures and stuff.

This gen I just waited for the price drop and all the good games to come out, because god **** the game boy advance and all of its remakes.
