ive been playing against meta knights recently and the only ones that seem to beat me are the ones air camping and i have no clue on how to fight it
i tryed using grenade camping, i tryed using c4 near where he would land, i tryed mortars(which seems to work a couple times) i just can think of anything to do to fight it, and it usually ends up me being punished and getting comboed to like 130+%
what are your guys strategys to fight air camping?

I play a few wario's and some gay mk's from time to time and you shouldn't think too narrow minded on it.

I usually NEVER approach them. I do nothing but nades and camp them back. The truth of it is, they cant win a fight where they're just sitting in the air attacking and you're away throwing things. They have to approach at one time or another and you need to be ready for it and punish.

I usually just use my shield to approach their aerials if I can and try and attack out of it or hold on a nade when I do it...I guess its just patience and strategy to stop them imo

What if they get the lead? Then they don't have to approach as long as they can avoid your nades.
A stock lead? I guess then its up to you to be able to get close again and keep the lead somehow.

No, a % lead or a stock lead. Either is dangerous.

Done right with Wario, it's hard to beat. Dphat showed me some camping with MK that was pretty **** annoying lol, Imma look into that.

in addition to air camping with a lead, grenades aren't an absolute defense, it's not a laser that stuns you when you get hit with it, and snake lags after throwing a nade, he can be punished at certain ranges for attempting to camp where his other moves would still be ineffective. so you always want to be getting farther away or closer if they're doing this properly, just have to outsmart them really. likewise to how you can be punished for using a nade at the wrong distance, MK can be punished for mispacing in his camping, you may be able to mortar slide underneath him, dash attack, grab, or nair him depending on what kind of mistake he makes, but it's easier for him to get you to make a punishable mistake than vice versa, and it hurts more when you do make that mistake unless you get a grab and a good tech chase...and nair is unreliable against him anyway as he can either uair or DI out a lot of the time.

just be patient.
throw stuff. sneak in uptilts and aerials.

campers get predictable, its a fact. predict their double jump with a nair

throw stuff. I've never seen anyone successfully avoid ALL grenades for an entire match.

just be patient. turn the tables on them. and make your hits count. snake can easily build like 30-70 damage off of one grenade hitting them

don't be like razer and try to rush a camper :-P
