FF7 vs OoT vs Halo 3

This is not flame-bait,but they are all great games and probably the most highly rated of all time.
LoZ's jump to 3D was....amazing.
FF's jump to 3D (i think it is) was...epic.
and Halo's conclusion was....awesome.
PS:None of those compliments are better than any of the others.

This is probably my first thread with good potential.

Either way, I'd have to choose OoT > FF7 > Halo 3 as my personal preference.

I loves me some Final Fantasy, but I think IV and VI were teh best. Had it been FF IV on your list instead of FFVII, I think OoT would take 2nd place to FFIV.

Again, just my opinions.

I'd have to put OoT over FF7 (I actually preferred VI and VIII over it) over Halo 3, since I've always thought the Halo series to be pretty overrated aside from having like...the strongest pistol ever.

Not very long. FFVII is the best game of all time, hands down no buts about it. OoT and Halo 3 pale in comparison to the mastery that is FF7.

For an RPG FFVII was good. But still never makes it Number 1 in the general Masses. OoT on the other hand still play it.

Halo 3 conclusion awesome?? Master Chief freezes him self and end. Call of Duty 4's was just explosive. And the Ending to World at War is epic.

you fight in the Reichstag building and put the Flag of the Red army and almost die doing it. Plus that choice between who should live was hard...

I haven't played Halo 3, so can't give an opinion or say where I rank it.

As much as I hate FF VII for being overrated, it was a really good and solid RPG. Especially for its time.
But that can be said for Ocarina of Time as well.

To be honest, I can't rank them.

I don't think any of those games are great, but I'd probably say OoT > Halo 3 > FF7. OoT is a fairly solid game, but I've always like the older overhead view games more. Halo 3 is okay, but nothing special. Not a terrible game like some people say though. Final Fantasy 7 is garbage in my opinion, though I'm really not a fan of that series. The only ones I like are Final Fantasy Tactics and FF8.

FF7 > OoT, but that's by a slim margin and largely due to the fact that I'm a huge JRPG fan. Halo 3 isn't even in the same league as those two, and to be truthful I can only think of one FPS--Half-Life--that would come anywhere close to being what OoT or FF7 are.
