Yeah it is a pivot slide. Normally the pivot slide makes the character face back forward, but with good timing, you can jab/shield to still get the slide animation, but also turn around as well. Also who is the flordia player? I'll have to look him up.

The florida player is Danny (C.Doc) He doesn't have any recent good videos or anything but he is listed 4th on the Florida Power Rankings. Below a Snake, MK, and GaW.

It doesn't look like a pivot slide, you were running and dodged. Pivot slides are usually from walking and turning around. I think there might be some unusual momentum carried over from the run to the turn-around. Who knows?

I know exactly what I did and how to create it. What happened is from spot dodge I can tap back and hold forward giving me a sliding animation across the ground. I do it to DK right before I fsmash in one of the scenes, but since I cancelled it with the jab halfway, I still got the slide, but didn't have to really pivot.

maybe we both have different ideas of "pivot sliding" but what i explained above should cover it.

Lol I've always been a pit main, but i used to play ike for online purposes. I still keep ike as a secondary though ^_^.
