You've got another problem, though.

Uni claimed to me to be the Watcher.

I get that they're both supposed to be part of Thousand Face Hassan, but to have the exact same ability?

I didn't quite trust you then, even though the odds of you being mafia twice were low, so I took the Watcher mantle in case you were Mafia, keeping Pokechu safe and acting as the meat shield since he has the most useful role between the two of us; the Watcher.

I'm just a Commuter, using Presence Concealment one out of two nights to give me immunity against night actions. That's why I thought the meat shield strategy could have worked so damn well.

I was trying to say that you and Pokechu have the same abilities, not role, and I thought you were trying to say someone else had them too.

But Trackers aren't Watchers.

They're kind of opposites.

Trackers can follow a player and see who they use an action on.

Watchers can observe a player to see who used an action on them.

That's an odd way to put it. They make it sound like the doctor is nothing. Which if they were the doctor they could at least try and defend their actions or say it. At least then they have at least one more night.

Oy.

Well I know that even if my character wasn't given a bizarrely heroic character description despite their actual canon status that it couldn't have been me, because I've said all my stuff and it's all useless as all heck for anything like that anyway. Z25 also didn't get my item until morning, and for future reference with how it works I can't possibly see it resulting in one successful kill and one botched kill anyway.

The one thing this does is increase the chances of my proving that I'm legit innocent with the unlikelihood of a large number of third parties running around, but having two murder chances a night to worry about isn't reassuring. And the murderers both tried to target people that made it super obvious they were Townies, too. . .

*EDIT* And my running theory here is that Yomi is claiming that the doc is actually Mafia. It's true that no one's been able to make contact with them, so if that's what's behind it. . .

If the doc is mafia, that would explain why they've contacted no one, but that's also a bad move because no one would suspect them if they are a doc.

Although if they are mafia then it would be hard to find them since again we know of no doctor.

I really don't think being inactive means anything so early in the game and it really shouldn't be the only basis for town lynching someone. I thought town learnt this...guess not. Friendly reminder that NSG while being very inactive for first 2 games was both a town and a mafia. And last game he was more active than usual. So really don't think activity means anything at this early stage. My priority targets are largely the same, split in 3 parts. Last is the one with all the inactive players, like Yomi or NSG.

It's not. Mafia thrive in secrecy. People SHOULD be pressed to at least engage in discussion, which I've been doing. If they were actively engaged, even if they never gave a role, I wouldn't press them as hard. But when you go this long without talking, you gotta provide something more tangible. It's a sliding scale of inactivity vs necessary information.

And I offered my character claim for that sole reason. It's a solid enough detail to give without going overboard and putting myself in danger...which it didn't end up helping too much since I got notified that last night's killing attempt permanently disabled my bulletproof. So forgive me if I'm not inclined to share more now that I'm at risk of getting killed by the Mafia before I can do something great for the town.

So you are bulletproof. But you only put yourself in danger by saying its limited. . If you kept your mouth hush about the latter the mafia would probbaly believe you and wouldn't target you. This, when there was a very low risk of you being lynched.
You are lucky that Z25 trusts you and I have very little suspicioon of him since he is only on the second suspicion lists, thanks to a interesting theory earlier.

I also have a feeling many if not all of us have more than one ability...

Meh, I was gonna die anyway with how much I ate my foot during the first day trying to figure out my playstyle. May as well at least buy myself a day phase not getting lynched to dump everything I've learned so far and any observations I can. Save the townies that actually know how to keep their traps shut.

well at least now your part of the choice of like 4, unless mafia thinks they should go for the doc and try to kill someone who is more of an unkown.

I have 2 roles and wasn't sure how to use them effectively. I was also unsure how the rules worked. Shishoe stopped me from writing my comands at night in the main thread.

That first role being that I can see if a player perfoms any action.

Tracker: Sees who the player targeted.

A second tracker seems unnecessary but this could be good info if yomi is honest.

After careful examination of the page of Extremely Confusing Similar Roles on the mafia wiki, Yomi is either a Follower or as Golden said a Motion Detector.

Since they seem to know the doctor's ability for some reason and are derisive of it, I'm actually leaning towards Follower should they be honest unless we know more.

White's game was pretty **** balance-wise though.

I mean, the Necromancer didn't even do any necromancing.

This time, Shoe had Swamp backing him up for the roles. If there really are three people with similar abilities, at least one of them has to be Mafia.

Eh a doctor is a much more needed role, and let's be honest we need all those last game. Plus Shishoe knows a good bit about the game, I doubt he would have so many similar roles.

Plus we technically only had two doctors. The backup was the third and never even got to be doctor.

I'd imagine things would be learned from that for future games.

The role says I am a Blader but it sounded to me like some girl with magic, and the second ability I can only use once.
