Just wondering if anyone else found it odd that Peach's D-Smash can't hurt Falco if he's charging HIS D-smash ?

Edit: Perhaps this is only in certain versions of the game? It works on my game, G-Fab's game, and KoreanDJ's game...

..... are you on crack?

Hell, i dont really care if this is a joke thread.

Falco's downsmash barely beats kirby's downsmash. And kirby is bad.

Well it doesn't beat Peach if you're right next to her. But with proper spacing Falco's dsmash can beat a lot of stuff. Its kinda of an open ended question really.

For those that don't know, I'm looking at you dogysamich, Falco's legs are invincible during his downsmash.

Also something slightly off topic, I think Falco's head is invincible during his upsmash lolz.

I'm not sure if you guys are understanding me....he's completely invincible to peach's down smash if he is charging his down smash

I don't literally think falco's dsmash > peach's dsmash.... I made that the title of this thread to make people intrigued.

Jesus Christ, that is a lot of potential invincibility frames against low attacks!

That would make an awesome mindgame against CCers.

Those first two responses are funny.

Also, what a good way to punish a flawless attack, you charge right when she begins, and when it ends, you let it loose. Be a little difficult to get the timing down, and how would you even practice it?

"Hey, will you come and help me practice beating you?"

Why Peach?

What is it about charging his d-smash that makes him evade Peach's d-smash?

Well, if someone said that his legs were invincible during the Dsmash, then maybe that's the case when Falco's charging the Dsmash, too. If he stands tall on his toes while charging (like I think he does), then said Dsmash will to "under" Falco since his legs are unhittable.

Sorry if that was confusing. That was just a guess, anyway, based on what others have said. I don't even know if this works yet, I'll have to try it.

Falco gains invincibility frames for his legs during his down-smash. His charge animation takes place during one of those frames, so you can hold the invincibility.

I was just showing this to my friends today, actually. You can stand right next to Peach and hold the d-smash, and you'll remain untouched while she d-smashes.

The application is kind of tricky though, because as technomancer said, you have to press down. Which is bad news when Peach is going to d-smash anytime in your future.

Slowly starting to enjoy my mothertongue again. :)
I demand video proof. >_>
Just test it yourself. Also, if respected players like Wobbles testify that it is true, it is. Believe me, Falco's legs are invincible during his dsmash.

Fox' dsmash has invincibility as well, but only once he does the splits, so it's not as good.
