Falco's Chain Grab Against Marth

Hey, I was playing Marth the other day and although I know about Falco's chain grab and have been on the receiving end of it a lot, I was playing a friend of mine online (blue/green connection so little lag issues so I doubt it was skipped frame issues) and he would try to chain grab me but after 10% or so, I would repeatedly press air dodge and air dodge right before hitting the ground and avoid his chain grab. Am I supposed to expect this and can Falco punish this?

Marth can get out of the chaingrab at any percent with his up b. That's why I just single down throw and they up b and then they fall and I **** them
