Falcon SHFFL'd F-Air into Grab

Today I was playing Melee. I was C. Falcon against a Level 9 CPU Falco and I was playing on Mute City. When the match started I did a SHFFL'd F-Air immediately into a grab. I just wanted to asked the really skilled Falcon players and pros if this is possible or if i had did something completely different.

Well since u lcanceled it , you should have very little lag meaning anything is possible after that

I know, but I'm kinda cautious, so i don't press buttons fast at all. I find it so hard to short-hop sometimes because of me worrying about screwing up. It happened really fast, so i wasn't sure whether I did that or not. I saw it. Just seemed weird to me. Thanks a lot.

its happens, more often at low percents.

if they don't fall down from the knee, you can regrab them. they may or may not have some frames where they can shield, but if you're grabbing thats not much of an issue. watch out for buffered rolls though.

Yeah you can SHFFL knee to grab at very low percents, probably not possible above 15% or so. If you space it perfectly you don't even have to dash forward to get the grab in.

Also note that Computer DI very stupidly (back into you) so the grab could've been made easier but isn't as practical for people as most decent players will DI anywere else, but not into you.

I've seen SS do this **** to Mango's Falco! Knee at 0%, grab, D-thrown, tech chase with raptor boost, U-smash! It was **** but too bad Mango teched the U-smash and the Knee finisher couldn't happen
