There is nothing wrong with mentioning melee in the 64 boards.
There is nothing wrong with mentioning brawl in the 64 boards.

What is wrong is coming here, saying "64 sucks, play brawl". The people who want to play brawl are currently in the brawl boards. The people who want to play 64 are currently in the 64 boards.

Saying that this is boring unless it was to be done in brawl is completely pointless. Whether you used to play 64 or not makes no difference. You are now in the 64 boards, so talk about 64, not about why brawl is a better game.

And just for the record, I also play brawl (just came back from a brawl tourney in Vancouver, was away the entire weekend). I enjoy the game. So don't use "Blue Yoshi hates brawl" or anything like that, since, well, as I just said, I also play brawl.

It is quite obvious you are trolling the 64 boards, saying brawl is better than 64... so please, for your sake and for ours, if you're going to talk here, avoid saying brawl is better than 64, since, quite obviously, people who post here, for the most part, prefer the 64 version over brawl.

Ive seen it many times with other chars., this isnt anything out of the ordinary.
Yes i am making fun of the fact that brawl has no combos as good as 64, does this help?
I cant make fun of 64, its what i started on, thats like burning my birthplace

And besides, that was my first time posting in the 64 section, otherwise, id normally ignore it and let it sit here

The ff bair to dair is atleast somewhat extraordinary, the pivot edgehogs to excellently timed edgeguards are very cool, and the falcon punch was perfectly timed and unexpected, for me atleast. This is definitely really cool, combo video material.

I'm not surprised some people took lucas' post as a barwl troll or something, the way he worded it left it open for people to overstate what he meant and think it was like, this is cool but since it's not brawl i dun like it as much.

I personally wasn't trolling him. I just posted that I knew that others would misinterpret what he said..Lol. I play barlw but I know most others dislike it in this forum, so I never bring it up here.

Ok people, i get cha, i dont understand 64 as much anymore.
Its just that stuff like this isnt really a marvel to me, just my opinions, stick to yours
I dont really like the vid i posted either, im just not used to what you guys would call "normal"
And with that, i realize my calling, and its not to be posting in these threads.
Smash 64 is great in its gameplay and combo abilities, if thats what you guys feel is out of the ordinary, stick to your opinions, ignore mine and others
My post should mean nothing to any of you, its just what i think, not you.
I may return to the 64 section someday, but until i understand the true concept of 64 play besides my own theories, its time for me to leave.
This is LP signing ot of 64 posting.

this doesn't sound right to me. We weren't trying to banish you or anything, but the video you replied with (which i've seen) isn't anything similar to the OP imo. I don't wish to ignore your opinion, i would rather have intelligent discussion. That being said, i understand why you don't find this all that great, when ever I see a brawl vid that has tons of positive comments and 5 stars, I think to myself, what's so great about this ****? It's all relative and it's all up to one's opinion. We (I) don't want to scare you away from the boards or imply that you don't know enough to be here or anything, we just want to inform you and other newer players.
