My friends and I have been pretty evenly matched for a long time now, but on a random whim he decides to master DeDeDe. Now, D3 himself can't beat my Falco, however, by playing D3 he has learned to shield-grab much more effectively. Now nearly all of my attacks are shield grabbed. Now before any jerk says it, I know how to mind game, and I know how to mix up which attacks I use. It just seems like ALL of my attacks are shield-grabbed, no matter which one I use.

What am I doing wrong?

You aren't spacing your attacks well.

you're not spacing correctly.
there's also the matter of you attempting to approach. against most characters that falco gets handily defeated by (i'm assuming you're semi-skilled at falco, so matchup ratios are relevant) you should never be approaching. just shoot lasers, shieldcamp when they get close or phantasm away.
either that or you're being predictable
it doesn't matter that you know how to mix up attacks, it matters that you know how to use them at the correct distance and mix them up in a manner as to throw your opponent off. condition them into thinking that you're always going to use x move at y distance and then use a different move to throw them off.

there's no magic solution, just save replays and figure out what you're doing.

EDIT: by the way, why aren't you on my attendance list?

Yea bair behind him. Short hop airdodge behind him, follow up. You can also try wavebounced lasers into grab. Illusions help a lot with shield grabbers.

FH Dair, Laser spam, Nair to Jab (well apparently that depends... Sometimes i get shieldgrabbed, sometimes it doesn't), SH Dair DI Behind > Jab, IAP... That's all i can think of.
