credit goes to face124 for his grab release near edge to raptor boost

I believe him as he said raptor boost is inescapable after a grab release for some characters
so maybe grab release to short hop Dair near an edge can be an easy KO combo too

Dair spikes harder so maybe it something to look into :)

again: face124 made this idea pop into my head

Lol thanks man you don't have to credit me so much, the d-air thing is YOUR idea after all.
The thing is, lots of people will be able to escape it, because some grab releases (like wolf's) get barely any hight at all, and some (like yoshi's) go really far out. It works with raptor boost because raptor boost moves out so much.

Although, Raptor Boost has lost of starting lag, so people who fell fast in their jump release animation and don't go far might be susceptible (sp?) to this.

personally, i think it's better to pummel release (forces a 'falling'/'ground break') fastfallers, cause if they double jump and you recatch and repeat, it sets them up for a stage spike/edgehog.

I might be misunderstanding this, do you mean a grab release and then doing a raptor boost out over the edge to spike them? It's a tad risky so I thought I might be confused.
if they can't escape it's not risky :p
