The box art is awesome, so much like the original Fable's, too.

Drop in and out co-op is in the game, which should be interesting. Molyneux is really starting to hype up the game, saying that some huge feature that hasn't been talked about before is going to be revealed soon.

I have a feeling this game will be epic.

Check out all the features.

-A second player can come in and out of the game at any time as a guest. This player keeps all gold and experience they earn and takes it with them back to their own game world.
The host can determine what share the guest gets of the gold and experience gamed when the guest is in their world.
-Guest players will get an hourly rate of pay for helping the host out.
-Guest players can kill the host player's family.
-NPC's will be able to recognize and respond to any guest playing with the main player. For example, if you have an evil guest with you and you're a good character, people will react accordingly.
-If you go into another persons game as a guest the look of the character will be based off of your character's look. If you don't have a character of your own you'll have a generic pre-determined look to your hero.
-The host can give the guest items to take back with them to their own game.
-Demon Doors are returning for Fable 2 and are still only opened by meeting certain requirements or performing certain actions. Some can only be opened in co-op.
-The game world will alter according to your interactions with it. If you trade with a small camp you may find that it's given the camp the push it needs to turn into a small settlement in the next 10 years.
-Good and evil are being tracked as well as rich and poor, and both can affect your physical appearance and how the world reacts around you.
-Morphing is going to have a large part in Fable 2, with the different morphs relying on , , corruption, purity, strength, will, and more.
-Experience is affected everytime the player passes out or collapses during a fight.
-Because so many people played as good characters in the first game it's going to be more difficult to be good in Fable 2.
-A dog is going to be the main characters main companion in the game from near the beginning on forward.
-You can use expressions towards the dog to help train it.
-The expression system is back for the main character, including some expressions such as "flirt" and "pose", among others.
-You will have no direct control over the dog.
-You can play with your dog, such as throwing it a ball to play fetch.
-Your dog works with with you to alert you of danger, hidden areas, and assists you in combat.
-Your dog will morph according to your actions as a player. If you're a good character your dog will look pleasant. If you're an evil character your dog will appear scary.
-If you go into a fight with your sword drawn your dog will attack the gun-wielding enemies first and vice versa.
-You can feed your dog but you're not responsible for feeding him.
-If you overfeed your dog it can become fat.
-The lower your health is the closer the dog will stay to you rather than venturing off further down the path.
-A gambling mini-game called KeyStone (a cross between roulette and craps) will be released before the release of Fable 2 on Xbox Live. Any money won in the game can then be imported into Fable 2. This game will cost points to download in advance but will be included for free in Fable 2.
-You'll get more experience for a good "style" of fighting and less experience for "button mashing".
-Instead of picking up gold from enemies you'll have to rely on getting gold from gambling or various jobs offered around the world. You will also get no gold for completing quests.
-Jobs you can have include blacksmith, farmer, assasin, and henchmen.
-The more you work at a job the more your skill in that job will increase.
-Village shops will offer you free items as thanks if you happen to have saved that village from a particular evil.
-When you marry somebody you become a part of that community.
-You can have a dowry during marriage.
-Due to marriage you can have a father-in-law.
-Instead of mini-maps there will be a new breadcrumb trail.
-If your spouse is killed your son or daughter will have to go to an orphanage.
-You can purchase and own any building in the game, ranging from dungeons, houses, inns, to castles.
-Most buildings or structures you can buy have specific quests associated with them.
-You can play as a male or female.
-You can get married and have children.
-Just as in the first game same-sex marriage is possible.
-The appearance of your children will be determined by the appearance of your spouse as well as that of yourself.
-If you leave home for too long your family will react accordingly upon your return, either by being very happy you're back or by being upset that you've been gone for so long.
-If you're evil your child will exhibit evil characteristics. If you're good your child will exhibit good characteristics.
-As the breadwinner of your family you will be responsible for your families survival by making sure they have enough money to eat, etc.
-You can have protected or unprotected sex.
-If you play as a female character you can become pregnant.
-Combat will be used via a one-button system. There will be one button for your sword, one for gun, and another for magic. This kind of combat is based off of timing and positioning of the character.
-Combat will be position oriented; your character will interact with the environment around him to help him fight.
-You can pick up and throw bottles at enemies.
-Your combat style will change according to the kind of weapon you're using.
-The player will unlock more skills and combos with particular weapons as they become better at fighting.
-Aside from swords and magic the player can use guns.
-The player can use a more accurate aim with a crosshair during gameplay.
-Hobbes will be making a return for Fable 2.
-While Peter says you can complete the main story in 12 hours if you rush through it it would much longer to do everything in the game.

I'm sure this is just a portion of it.

Do you remember the hype leading up to the first Fable game? And as the game got closer and closer to release, more and more features got chopped.

Apparently, Molyneux tends to hype his games by talking about features that aren't realistically going to be in the game. I don't doubt that this game will be a fun RPG, just as the first one was, but I don't think it will have all the features that Molyneux is claiming it will.

All of that sounds great. I can't wait to have an evil looking dog(Hopefully with red glowing eyes) and an evil son.

That's just winsauce right there.

I'll probably pick it up, but it sucks that the co-op is offline only.

Fallout 3 and Fable 2 in the same year, pretty good for the 360.

The game is content complete, they're just squashing bugs now, so unless there's some major bugs that are only fixable through removing features, everything's stayin'.

Who else picked up the Fable 2 Pub Games? While I wouldn't have payed 10 bucks for it without playing it, after pre-ordering and getting it for free, I actually feel like it truly does have a 10 dollar value, and if it wasn't a bonus with pre-ordering it would be worth buying.

Anyways, Fortune's Tower is easily the best game. It sucks really bad when you get screwed by misfortunes like 3 times in a row, as long as you play smart and take those 8's-14s when you're gate card is gone, you rarely end up losing money if you play long enough. (Or at least you'll reach a point where you could've made money if you hadn't continued playing.

Keystone is fun, but it's a little slow, and while Spinbox makes me want to kill people, I still have fun with it- definetly the worst of the three though.

All I've got left is the Gun, Sword, Ring, and the fourth Spinbox prize- ( I think it's a potion?).

I'm not sure I'm willing to play Spinbox enough to unlock the achievement for getting all the games, but we'll see.

Also, I was just wondering why you would play any of the four ruby or emerald decks when you have the diamond deck. Am I missing something here?

Anyways, I'm hoping to have maybe 30k stored up for my Fable character- not too much so as too take away from the experience and natural flow, but enough to start out strong- maybe with a little shack. I have no problem with it making the game a bit easier, Fable 2 isn't a game I buy for difficulty.

Oh, one last thing- if this is the real Achievement list, that's ****ing awesome:

I played the trial of Pub Games and instantly fell in love with Fortune's Tower. Keystone and Spinnerbox are both pretty weak, but Fortune's Tower alone justified the $10 price tag for me. Yes, I don't have Fable 2 pre-ordered. I only pre-order games if I did some trade-ins, which I did do recently, but I opted to not reserve Fable 2 out of all the choices I had.

I'm currently a four star gambler and have done tournaments 1-4 for both Fortune's Tower and Spinnerbox. Spinnerbox was just annoying. The third tournament took me four tries. First time, I ended in 6th. Second time, in 7th. Third time? 18th or something ridiculous. Got third place my first try on the fourth tournament thankfully. It's just so boring sitting there in that game just pressing A over and over. I tried the first Keystone tournament and was instantly being destroyed by Wuki. I just cashed out because I didn't want to deal with it at the time.

I'm planning on spending my cash on a house or two at the beginning of the game. Maybe an awesome outfit, too. It'd be nice if Lionhead would tell us what a good amount of money to have is so we don't end up with so much we can be buying entire towns right off the bat.

In other news, I have a friend who play tested the game a month or so ago. Overall he said the game is shaping up to be great, but the build he played was super buggy and he didn't like the new magic system.

If it was only 10 dollars more, than I would've considered it. The Master Chief armor and dungeons and stuff did sound pretty cool, but 20 bucks more is just too much.

$80 is ridiculous for a game. $60 is already too much, $70 is really pushing it (the only game I've purchased this generation at $70 is Halo 3's Collector's Edition, unless you count Rock Band), $80 is just too much. Sure, you get a Hobbe figurine, which is apparently why it costs so much, but come on, I only want the Collector's Edition for the Master Chief outfit. I don't want a toy. And man, I REALLY want that outfit, even though I probably wouldn't end up wearing it. It just looks so gosh darned cool. I'm sure it'll end up being downloadable content for a couple bucks sometime after the game is released, so if I really want it and that happens, I'll get it.

I am awful at Keystone. Awful. I can't beat the first tournament involving it. Got a jackpot though! Rolled a solid three and bam! 21,000 gold! Beat all the Fortune's Tower and Spinner Box tournaments, can't wait to use the Championship Pistol and Mysterious Ring. Or just ring out what the Mysterious Ring does. I'm not too fond of curses. And I really want the Sleepmaster 3000 bed you win in the second Keystone tournament. :(

For Keystone tournaments I always max out the bottem row. If you hit trips, you win well over 25k, guarenteeing at least fifth, if not first. I've only had to restart a tournament once, and I ended up making the money back at the end of the tournament.

So.. First impressions? Unfortunately, I have to admit, this game was extremely overhyped. :(

**** you, Peter..

No, its not that bad. But, I've experienced so many glitches. One which froze my character as I paused during a cutscene. The story is quite interesting though, and the combat is nothing to complain about. Graphics are okay.

Overall: 8.5

Anyone have kids yet? Heh... I've had 3 wives, all which, I've killed because they couldn't produce a boy.

Visiting from above.
I'm pretty sure Cashed said he did the same thing, but for a girl instead.

I'm having a lot of fun with it. Yes, it was way overhyped. My biggest complaints are with the co-op, where both characters have to share a single screen, even on separate accounts over Live (what?), or the fact that you can't play as YOUR character in a co-op game, you have to use a generic template (seriously?).

Once again, Peter Molyneux overhypes one of his games. Granted, the game is fantastic, it's just not what was promised. My main problem with the game is how many bugs there are. The story would be great if it were fleshed out more, but it just rushes right through it, the game only offering about five main quests. The game does feature one of my favorite things in video games: Time progression that changes the game world. There's an instance where you're away from everyone and everything for 138 weeks, and when you come back, everyone is really surprised to see you and of course, there's a lot of stuff that's changed. Earlier in the game you're given an option to go 5,000 gold in with a guy to try to turn a slum of a town around. When you return after your 138 week hiatus, there's a real town where there was once a Pub with no roof. I've been playing it a ton the last week, just started my second playthrough about 30 minutes ago. Really, really love the combat in the game.

Well, only a few more achievements and I will be done with this game.. for good. I feel like I'm almost betraying it, but it just didn't meet my expectations, which is a shame because this was the only game that perked my interest. Oh well.

Also, I was aiming for my character to become pure/good, but at the end I gave into greed and chose wealth.

The combat can be irritating at times.
