Everyone needs to stop going Marth, it's rly annoying (3-0 vs Marth with Falco in tournament son, WUDUPWITDAT THOUGHT MARTH WAS GOOD IN THIS GAME?!)
Brawl Marth is even more broken then Melee Marth so... MARTH BROKEN!

It's cool, most of us are still pretty new to the game, so you'll be close to everyone else's skill level.
At least it'll be a good chance to play the game early.

Hi guys. Just discovered that there was a Smash Bros tourney scene near Spokane- had no idea any of you guys existed!
I've never really played against tourneygoers but I'm pretty good. You'll find me lacking in knowledge as far as tech terms but I know most of the tactics from experience. Was never involved in the Smash scene online.
I've never played Brawl, which will put me at a slight disadvantage, but since it eliminates stuff like Wavedashing that I never learned, perhaps it'll help more than hurt.
I'll be there! And I'll need to practice.
How do you guys go about recording the matches, out of curiousity?

Let me know, I'll bring mine if you do. We can play something on co-op perhaps. Devil Went Down to Georgia seems fitting for some reason.Looks awesome, can't wait to play brawl.

My normal sparring partner (only friend I have that can match me) is going to ask for the day off...if he gets turned down I'll be free. Will post when I know for sure.

Hell yeah. this game is fun mane. i played for like 12 hours with adam the other night. ;D
so Marth is banned? j/k. but "excessively using laser lock" seems hard to say what is excessive, from what Ive seen of it, i think it will proly go unbanned in normal tournament play. Like Wobbles in melee, occasionally banned but usually not.

Hey Brdy, just a little update for you. If you guys need it, I can bring my Wii/Smash on Saturday to make for a total of 4 systems. Def. planning on being there Saturday unless some academic bombs get dropped on me (seems unlikely). I'm also still looking for a partner for the team tourney, so if you want to join me or know anyone else in need of a partner, lemme know. Ciao - -
