Well, the cloudswent away at 10:52... forgot to take into account that the moon wasn't going to be totally eclipsed here, I waited ten minutes after the fact to see it LOL

It's winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. Basic geography lesson. I remember a few years back, my sister went on a week long trip during a seaon change past the equator. She calls it 'the week of four seasons'.

I'm up in Ithaca NY far from civilization so I got an amazing view. There's an observatory on campus with a really powerful telescope. You know that really bright star WSW of the moon? Well, that's Saturn. I was able to see Saturn's rings and moons tonight O_o

Yeah it was -25 celsius when I left school at 10pm but I saw it and it was pretty sweet. Everyone was looking at it at the bus stop, loldude today in winnipeg it was -40 degrees celcius it was so cold
I need to move to Arizona or Cali or somewhere else where it doesn't get cold.

I saw it earlier today like 4 hours ago and at that time, a little chunk was missing from the bottom of it. Now I look up to see it, and I can't even find the moon. Why is it so cloudy??

But seriously, I saw the moon at the end of the eclipse. Clear night. Half gone. Pretty cool. The real money is in a full solar eclipse though. Gotta see one of those before I die.
