M2K, step it up and get all the hookups. We are lacking kirbies. The more kirbies the better.

I also accept position of EC captain, or co-captain with Nintendude. We will send in Malva's 7 frame kirby in first. WHATCHA GONNA DO EUROPE?

I'm going to Europe in 2 weeks, so if this doesn't happen anytime soon and my internet there is good maybe I'll end up playing for Europe XD

Are we talking about making this an online crews battle? Or for Apex? Lol. I don't think Europe vs. EC would be fair... Malva is WC, for one thing. Nor would Europe vs. USA be fair- we'd still **** them HARD. But we could still do it, why not?

I'd say ban the best EC player if malva wants to play, to make it more fair.
By the way, lets remember one more time that europe always played on console with the different PAL version of the game.
USA has way more good players than europe on USA version thats obvious, but meh this is for fun isnt it?

nix, stop with the nonesense. almost noone of the euro top has played the pal version of ssb, nor are we way worse then the ec, it is not that obvious. that is why we want to do this.
and mister e, it was always meant to be done online, as i think only one of the top euro ssb players is going to apex.
and nintendude, if you are going to be in europe for a while, i recommend you check out my european smash index and join our group - we usually meet there to do p2ps or set up teams.
can't wait to play with you with 1-3 frames :)

I explained many times this PAL/NTSC thing, wont do it again... if its nonsense to you fine, but i think it clearly isnt o:
I didnt say EC, i said the whole usa. I'd say EC vs Europe will be a nice competition, although malva is there

the point that it is harder for people who played pal is valid, just noone except you has played it.

No one except me, so that means no one in europe played it? I know several people only in my region who didnt like online smash because it was basically a different version than what they used to play on the console, that may aswell apply to the whole europe; So basically we would have a clearly larger, better scene if we had the NTSC version for consoles. Sadly the slower PAL version makes it more n00b-friendly and more limited for the better/faster players

read what i typed, noone in the euro top has played it, we always played ntsc.

I'd like to join but i get like 10 frames on Galaxy 64 :S Spanish internet connection sucks, but i'd love to play if we use europe servers.

1st of all I think this is all talk and probably won't ever happen.

If it did it would be:

Nintendude
Sensei
Me

We'd need a 4th and maybe 5th. Doesn't look like A$ wants to play so we'd probably have to get Fireblaster/MarioReincarante/PD/ShadeMoneh/Koro.

who is on the EC roster? I can't see it beating Europe if we get a full team out.

I think I've played most of the top European players and sure I think you guys could take us down but I'd definitely say were favored. :)

It's up to Europe if they'll allow you to play or not since you're west coast not east coast. The point of it being east coast is so its low frames. If they wanna play you at 7-9 frames I'm fine with it.

But you'll go last so the rest of us have a chance to play since you're not even east coast.

i think we all kind of agreed that malva is viable to play, and we wanted to make this a larger crew battle, not 4-5 but 8-10.
thus you can have sensei, sheer, nintendude, fire, malva, frog, shade, a$ if he likes, MarioReincarnate, firo and whoever i might have missed.

7-9 frames is pretty terrible, and I did say 5 frames is the limit here really
But, this wont be the 'first and only' regional crew battle. :p
Anyone who couldnt participate in this one, can surely have another chance at the next!

If both sides all fully agree to let Malva play, I might allow it.. but I dont want to make an exception otherwise


A couple things:

*** Since he has shown the most interest, i'd like it if Sheer could captain the EC =) while I obviously captain Europe

*** Interest is looking to be high, I can't speak for EC but I know more than 5/6 people will be interested from the Europeans to participate - SO i want delay to be tested after all players are picked...

IF and only if you are fairly certain you can get 5 frames with atleast 3/5 of the opposing team, then sign up! Otherwise please wait til the next for now =)

EDIT: I'm putting a limit of an 8 man team for the moment. After sign ups are counted i may reconsider =)

Oh **** I forgot about frog. I don't see him p2p much though. Hopefully he'll join. Also I don't really care about being captain. Nintendude and Sensei said they'd like to be captains so they can be co-captains.
